Pep Guardiola

Yeah, I can definitely see him returning to the club. Not sure whether it'll be as a coach or president or whatever, but I can definitely see him returning at some point.

I can't see him returning to coach the youth teams.... the first team maaaaaaaaybe. Most likely some other administrative function.

He probably wont manage us again but I could see him presenting his candidacy for president someday. After becoming the English national team coach and teaching them how to play football of course :pep:

That's an interesting topic... Bayern won the Bundesliga today after two years of losing it to Borussia, so that's already one step of the ladder that needs to be reached in order not to disappoint, that is, to be at least equally as successful. If they win the CL, then the best of luck to Pep, because he's gonna have a hell of a time meeting the expectations after this season.

Massive appreciation from the few posts I've read. All justified of course, after what he has done for Barcelona.

I, as a Bayern follower, can't tell you how akward it will be if Bayern manage win to the CL (no disrespect intended, I think the winner of the FCB-FCB tie will win the CL) and with that, the first treble in Bayerns history. Like said, the expectations will be huge.

If possible I would like Heynckes, our current coach to remain for at least one more season. Not undermining what Pep is capable of, it's just Heynckes has worked so hard and has effectively achieved his goal: he made a machine, a team that has works as precise and powerful as a BMW V12 motor. It hast cost us a lot, thou', last season was as painfull as it get's, barely losing in all 3 competitions.

My ultimate dream would be having both as coaches for one season. If they get along, it would be just insane. but that just won't happen.

Our board has managed to sign Guardiola for a 3 years contract, that I findly simply amazing given that he used to sign only 1 year contracts. On the other hand if everything goes wrong he would still get paid full salary even if he's been "kicked out". (Which will be the last of all measurments of course)

If things go right and Pep can overtake this machine that Heynckes has build and tune it to be even more effective, I hope he stays for a long, long time. Like Ferguson-long.
