I hope Chelsea and Torres trash Bayern (even though they're deserved champions and the best team in Europe)

He's going to have a lot of pressure to deal with, considering he's going to most likely take over from a treble winning manager the previous season (if they beat Stuttgart). Hope he does well, if we meet them in the CL next season hopefully we will be more prepared to deal with them :D

Why do so many of you want Pep to fail? So much that you would cheer for Mou's Chelsea? I don't get it.

I don't like Bayern & I don't think he made a good choice in going there, but still...

Me neither. Just can't wish bad for him. Or be on side with mou, of all people.

Why does everyone hate Bayern anyway? Better to take that thrashing with dignity and respect for the opposition before making them out to be total antagonists (which many Barca fans do with teams like Bayern, Chelsea, Madrid, etc.).

They outplayed us and simply are the better team now. I don't want the Barca golden era to end anymore than you guys do but we simply have to accept the fact that it's Bayern's turn on the world stage right now.

Pep is going to a team with great footballing principles and a great academy and players who work as a singular unit and play REAL total football, not where there are completely set roles on who's distributor and who's goalscorer etc. Right now they are juggernauts and he can instill some even more amazing philosophies there. I wish him the best and hope Bayern have a good period while Barca are in transition and getting ready to climb back up to the top.

Every prestigious footballing team rises and falls throughout the years (United, Bayern, Madrid, Milan, Barca) and it's better to accept it than be in denial trying to always keep things exactly the way they are.

I wonder as well. Maybe because he left us. Like an ex-partner thing.

I could understand if he went to Madrid... then all bets would be off & he'd be treated like Figo. Or if you're a fan of a club that's a direct rival to Bayern. But after all he achieved with us it just seems wrong to want him to fail anywhere else. I certainly won't cheer for him at Bayern but I won't have my thoughts invested in wishing him failure either.

My reason to support Chelsea is that it would be hilarious if the new dynasty of Bayern crashes before it even begins (and to Torres of all people :coffee:). I didn't even consider Mou, he's not Chelsea's manager yet.

The main reason I want Pep to fail, in general, is due to an irrational fear that Bayern will be a juggernaut for the next few years and dominate all teams. I find it highly likely that they will retain the CL next year.
