It's that feeling that everything is going to be alright that I miss most about Pep. Everything about him just brought a sense of calm to the club. Even if we went through a bad spell you know he would turn it around eventually. It's strange to have that feeling of uncertainty about the future as a Barca fan again. I haven't felt it since Pep first took charge.

Definitely a good way of putting it...Under Pep, you never really doubted the squad being ready for their opponents...The Bayern debacle would've never gone down like that

Will take Bayern to another level. That doesn't mean they will win the CL every year but they have a good chance of becoming the first team to retain it.

The thing that pisses me of about Pep leaving is he left us when things were going south. I would have liked to have seen him rebuild the team. There were rumours Pep wanted a lot of players sold and the board refused and that's why he quit. Honestly it feels that there is unfinished business at Barca that Pep should sort out.

Bayern will be weaker in the CL from now on. Bayern won it last season by playing reactive football when needed (less possession against Arsenal in the Emirates). Can't imagine a Pep team being reactive. They'll go for it in every game and in return suffer defensively more than they did under Heynckes.

Maybe his tactics would different in bayern?

I completely agree!
This Bayern's treble is a lot closer to Inter's, than our 2009 treble in my opinion. Even though Inter was lucky to beat us, while we looked toothless to say the least against Bayern this year.
Pep is a romantic and he will try to play attacking football, unlike Heynckes, who was more of a pragmatist. During his presentation at Bayern, when Pep asked about his philosophy, he just said: I like to attack.

Is it safe to say that guardioa is resposible for one of the best barca's ever but at the same time he's responsible for the decline of Barca? The year that Cesc was signed, our priority should have been a defender (everyone could see that, Abidal was sick, puyol getting old and with injuries, pique wasn't the same). Now, b.c of Cesc, (unnecesary signing) Thiago lost so many minutes and he lost a great opportunity to continue to grow and develop into even a better player than what he is today. Cesc doesn't fit into barca's system and the team sucks now. And now Thiago will leave. today, there aren't as many options for signing a good CB as in the past. So we are left with no good CB, no good midfielder to replace Xavi.

I can't imagine Pep and the Bayern board getting along well with each other. They're close-minded, conservative braggers while he's... the complete opposite. He just doesn't seem to fit their philosophy.

He won 15-1 and 9-1 in his first two friendlies with Bayern, although they aren't games to be taken seriously.
