Tbh. I really don't want to hear anymore from pep in the near future. He got his path set out even before being appointed Barca manager and I'm guessing he won't end up much different than Mou in next 10 years or so.
For me, Barca remains Barca whoever is at it's helm and I'll always side with the club versus individuals.

Problem is though that journalists will keep asking him questions about Barça. That is for now at least.

Problems went up public the minute Pep assigned his friend from Argentina to set him up with questions to attack the current board. And conveniently few days or a week before he snapped Thiago.
I don't question Pep's qualities as a manager or everything he accomplished with Barca but in all of this commotion Tito emerged as a bigger person than him.

Tito, the guy who publicly criticized his alleged friend over their private issues, to make Rosell look less like a bad guy.

My thoughts exactly. Now that Pep (or Thiago) is another club, I couldn't care less about them. Once they join Barca again, I'll welcome them with open arms though :)

What's that based on?

Allegedly Rosell said that Pep didn't visit Tito in NYC much, to which Pep publicly replied that he was disappointed by Rosell's poor taste in using that situation to criticize him. Then Tito was asked about this entire situation in a press conference, and now, if he was a stand up guy, he wouldn't comment on his and Pep's private issues in a press conference, let alone criticize Pep for such things publicly (they're supposed to be friends), but he did so, he went into details and expressed disappointment in Pep in order to defend Rosell's original statement.

"Allegedly". The timing of Pep's rant (minutes before he announced his intention of signing Barca's best youngster) was very suspect to me. And the fact that the reporter who asked that question had a moment together with Manel Estiarte moments before the press-conference certainly doesn't help either.

Furthermore, that Odilio-rumour was launched in the Brazilian press (globoesporte?), not by the Catalan media, so I find it very hard to believe that Rosell would have any influence in a very reliable press-agency like globoesporte. So there's no proof whatsoever that it's Rosell who launched that rumour.

And yes, Tito responded in a press-conference and he bashed Pep. Why? 1) Because his feelings were deeply hurt because of Pep not visiting him in New York, and he wanted to publicly deny that Pep is some kind of saint or because 2) Tito is Rosell's puppet, and he wants to do everything to make Rosell look good?

Sorry, but imho option 1 looks far more likely.

It still makes him a douche for publicly criticizing a so-called friend over private issues that have nothing to do with the club, but with their personal relationship. That's all I'm saying. I'm not even going into all the other parts, the Odilio and Estiarte or whatever. It can all be true for all I care, I doesn't change what I say about Tito.

Dunno, both Pep and Tito talked about their personal relationship in the press, so I guess they're both douches then according to you.

Pep said that he had visited Tito in New York once or twice, and that afterwards if he hadn't been able to visit Tito, it was not because he didn't want to (which I find a very strange explanation, 'cause surely someone on holidays can find an hour or so free time to visit a sick friend). Tito countered that part, and said it wasn't correct.

Guardiola like Mourinho?. The man who says loving Barca is like loving his parents? i would advise you Bojan to take a chill pill and remember this-Pep hates Rosell not Barca. He may be Bayern's coach but he's not the first one to leave Barca. Cesc,Pique etc. did too and they came back. Nobody hates Luis Enrique. I can see Pep coming back in the future when Rosell is gone and maybe even as our president one day.
You are right when you say the club is bigger than the individual. But here its not so much as Barca vs Pep as its is Rosell vs Pep. And between these two "individuals" i certainly choose Pep.

do use think pep just stuck in a bid 4 thiago to get back at rossell an tito

Nah. But seeing Thiago's treatment at Barca and having affectionate feelings for him having groomed him, he offered him a way out. Getting back at Rosell might possibly have been an added benefit but nothing more than that

The problem is, Pep commented on their private issues first. He was the one who mentioned his visits to Tito. Tito commenting on an already public issue isn't unreasonable.

Except Pep never criticized Tito. Tito was the one who used heartbreaking lines like "he wasn't there for me" in a press conference. In fact, Pep never said a word against Tito since he left the club, on the contrary.
