Man, even Mourinho has more loyalty than Pep. Don't get me wrong, Pep is the best we ever had but he obviously has his personal ambition ahead of Barca.
Quite sobering.
Pep owe nothing to Barca. He did his job as a player and manager and moved on. Don't see where the 'not very loyal' argument comes from. Yeah, he took some of his old staff with him, he had the right to do that as well, and probably did the right thing considering how this board have worked on erasing everything he did by getting rid of people without any reason whatsoever.
He also bought a former Barca player in Thiago, but why not? He would have left anyway because he wanted more playing time and not be 4th on the so called merit list where even players out of form or playing with painkillers would be ahead of a fit and healthy you.
He had personal ambitions, but who does not? Everyone have so. That doesn't mean that he is disloyal in any way.
Mourinho having more loyalty than him? Care to explain?
Not surprised. I love Pep but I don't see him as Barca obsessed as someone like Xavi or Puyol were/are. He likes trying new things and new environments as evident to his playing and now managing career.
The only thing Rosell and co changed was upping the No Confidence percentage from 5% to 15% and making it difficult to become a soci.
I think Pep will take a Tour of England, then Italy and then a National Team Coach before he ends his mangerial career.
Do you guys Josep Guardiola represents for us ? Josep Guardiola is the absolute epitome of FC Barcelona. He has given us EVERYTHING, PEP OWES BARCA NOTHING !. Pep came from La Masia, first he was a ball boy, then one of our best captains, then our greatest manager. I will never forget when I jokingly told my friend on november 29, 2010 that Barcelona will beat Real Madrid 5-0 And just like that we did. Best match I've ever seen us play, Testimem Pep we will always be eternally grateful.
