Pep Guardiola

I found his comments about Barca when he joined Bayern a bit disrespectful. He could've said he's not coming back nicely, but instead twisted it to sound like an asshole.

He has been acting a bit douchy now too. In Bayern's preseason tour to US, he had a huge argument with the MLS team coach (forgot which team it was) because one of his players gave a hard tackle to the Bayern academy striker. The tackle wasn't even that hard and was a 50/50 challenge but Pep kept on screaming at the coach. The MLS coach kept trying to apologize but Pep just kept being an asshole. It was a very Mourinho-esque moment.

I may get a lot of hate, but it's just the way I view him now since he left.

Also, he hasn't exactly revolutionized the way Bayern plays. It's just a stricter possession style, nothing over the top. He has (imo) the best squad in Europe so everybody fully expects his team to at least make it to the final. They win their league in February/March, so he has about 3-4 months to fully prepare for a final. This is a luxury that hardly any other team in Europe has. He still somehow got absolutely anhiliated by RM and still seemed to not have any answers to great counter attacking football. I'm willing to bet if they face RM again, they will probably get knocked out again.

If we face Bayern, I don't think it would be a huge upset as a lot of arrogant Bavarian fans think. On the other hand, it would be a huge dent to his career if he faces an exit to Lucho, the B team manager while Pep was here and the manager who has achieved so little compared to him.

Some spectacularly sophomoric posts...binning a club legend who has no peers is the kind of idiocy you find commonplace at a small club

Noone questioned his accomplishments as a manager.
Or do you think his football acumen transcends into other aspects od his life and makes him a good person?

Exactly.
He's the best coach the club ever had but I didn't really like the way he left us and his words.
I hope that we'll play Bayern, it would be amazing.

Haha for a guy who is trying to distance himself from Barca, he sure did a poor job today with those reactions.

I've been waiting if any journalists got any quotes on his thoughts on the two games and teams he just watched? Anyone hear or read anything?

Thanks in advance.

He was also doing some scouting..:lucho: it was great to see his reactions, though.

No way he was doing scouting. A big problem with Bayern is that they have way too many world class players for each position. Finding their best first 11 is a huge discussion topic in many Bayern boards.

Yeah, no way. That's why this is his first visit to Camp Nou since he left.
Was funny to see his reactions even-though it looked over the top at times.
