What's the fuss with Müller-Wohlfahrt? Being 30 years at Bayern makes him Shenron from Dragon Ball who can revive dead footballers or what? There are 500 million gazillion capable doctors with the same medical knowledge. There are barely 3 managerial candidates for Bayern.

He is treating people like Usain Bolt, Kobe Bryant, Ronaldo, Steven Garrard, Michael Owen, Lothar Matthäus, Bono, Bruce Springsteen, the whole german national team, Klinsmann and so on and so on.

Yes, this is repeated all the time, probably because of his fancy Wikipedia entry, but he is not the only specialist who is supervising big name celebrities. Dr. Pruna. is treating people like Messi, Puyol, Iniesta, David Villa etc. So? Just because some superstitious celebrities prefer Wohlfahrt for his "alternative" honey-smearing and goat blood methods doesn't mean he is actually perceived as the reference in the medical world. Where is his nomination for the nobel prize? Seems like a normal doctor who knows how to market himself properly. Will the Bayern squad decimate with a different doctor (I mean more than they already are under him lol)?

it means that he is obviously very demanded and therefor good. My dad is treating the players from our local club Hannover 96 and he knows M.W from several lectures during medicine congresses and he said that they wont find anyone even near the quality to that. Also replacing him means, that the new doctor would have aboslutely no clue about prior injuries and problems with several players. Müller Wohlfahrt knew every detail and can build patterns over long-term to analyze problems with injury-prone players, the new doctor will take a couple of years until he has that sort of feeling with the Bayern players.
