If and not when .. differentiating speculations from facts would do the world good; media have too much power because of mankind incompetence to differentiate between both

It's easy to say now.

If we hadn't bought any replacements people would've used the Bale/Suárez narrative and how Spurs and Liverpool invested the money in a bunch of shite players after selling for a huge sum, rather than buying a big player.

There were pros with both Coutinho and Dembélé when they were bought, so their transfers weren't totally illogical.
It didn't work out as we'd have wanted unfortunately, but one could point at other factors, like Coutinho not getting the chance to play in a midfield 3 with a competent coach and Dembélé having constant injuries destroying his momentum.

Squad player it is then, if no one wants to fork at least 80m. for him. Doubt he has it in him to prove people wrong.

Since we can't agree with PSG on a Neymar swap deal this is the only option left.

No guarantee he will be good at Bayern, but we get the lad's massive wages off the books and he gets a fresh start at the very least.
