Those who gush over PLs qiality, sorry but even current la liga that is admittedly in slope, is overall tougher defensively. At least, if we take both leagues overall, not just top clubs like Liv and City. The gaping ass holes they usually allow in defense is something i never see even among medium liga clubs. Maybe they do this end to end stuff on purpose, i dunno.

La Liga isnt 'tougher defensively'. There are plenty of players that couldnt cope in EPL scoring goals in past couple seasons.

I'm just reflecting my eye test watching both. There are always more and larger spaces to pass or run in PL. Maybe they are great offensively that's why, but i doubt. England clubs don't show the same attacking oomph in Europe as they do between each other. They probably also play more cautious against other European sides usually.

Luuk De Jong, Rafa Mir, Joselu, Juanmi, Willian Jose, Enes Unal, Aspas, Danjuma, Lucas Perez etc all scoring goals in La Liga and were beyond shite in EPL.

There is more room in EPL as teams have more pace and movement and break quicker.

Watch some La Liga games and it is mind numbing how slow they move ball and how little quality there is to break open opposition defences. It is beyond boring and lacking in quality at times and physicality plays a part in that.

The defences are far better and face better attackers with more movement and pace week in week out in EPL across the board.

Apart from Luuk the God and Aspas i don't recognize any names you mentioned. Most likely because they're mediocre as well in la liga. La liga has always been slow and ponderous. There are hardly any pace merchant teams. Maybe Real in their best iterations. Still, it has kept englanders under their boot for quite some time until recently. If teh pace and shit was the definitive factor of superiority, english clubs would've been ripping apart UCL since 90s. La liga certainly lacks great forwards currently though. PL is winning at this hands down.

La Liga was the best league until recently due to top teams. Below that the EPL has been better for a while.

Barca at their best under Pep were best in world on break as were Real with BBC.

It is the pace and power of the EPL that now stands out as they are as good if not better than likes of La Liga technically as well. So no pace and power never been enough on its own and no one claiming it is.

The assessment of the level of the Leagues is subjective. There is a player who plays well in England, badly in Spain and average in Germany. This is the level of the Leagues. Coutinho's favorite shot from outside the box into the far corner. In Spain, the defenders simply don’t let him shoot. In England, they do. In Spain, they just rudely take the ball from him. In England, he doesn’t let him do that with him. Etc.

Nah it is about being in team where get freedom to get into those positions. Not shitty La Liga defenders.

Coutinho playing wide at Barca was nowhere near the way he played there for Liverpool for example. Completely different positions in different set ups.

Factologically false on both accounts.

Even second tier la liga teams have been more successful in Europe than most first tier pl teams for a decade or so, while second tier english teams have been utter rubbish, irrelevant. You don't see Arsenal, Tottenham (one lucky fluke) or Everton coming even near to be challenging against top tier of Europe on year for year basis.

Spanish teams have dominated entirely because of their technical ability that has been honed in spanish culture of football for decades and come to maximal fruitation in recent decades. Best achievement by spanish teams have been made, while playing technically and often also tactically superior football, which successfully neutered the physical superiority of opposite teams. Golden era Barca vs MU was typical example of that. Currently it's just that there is major generation change and footballers that were dominating the 10s are withering away, while next generation is just forming. There was never problem even "overpowering" the so called physical teams, which is evidences how Barca and Spain could apply relentless and tenacious pressing through all 90-120 minutes, completely exhausting and choking the opposite sides into complete submission. Again, it's all about players.
Ironically enough there has been lot of spanish influence on english football in recent decade, which has enriched both style and player/coach content of it, while bleeding away some good blood from la liga. It never happens the other way around. UK doesn't produce world class footballers that often. Their league largely rely on big money that can buy foreign talent in players and coaches. Not much of an achievement sporting wise.

Barca and Real were top for few decades. Sevilla or Atletico also come to mind with Uefa Cup success.

Don't know about below top 4 but no-one cares if Wolves are better than Getafe. Literally noone.
