Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The only way this is making sense from Dortmunds behalf is that they have something in the backhand, like a star striker they can bring in shortly after that.
But I have no idea why City would do that. Nothing about this makes sense, I can't see this happening.

Probably because Pep is gonna go full FM mode and offload half of the useless squad he has.

What never made any sense was going to Man City.

What other options he had? He didn't want to continue in Bayern because he is believer of the whole "cycle" thing to the extreme. There isn't any club in Italy where he can go and work on his ideas right now.
He was bound to go to PL,and every other big club has almost same problems in their squads if not more.

Why it make no sense for City?they have only true world class striker is Aguero who is injury prone and can be crappy at times.

I don't think anyone would invest 75m into a sub and injury replacement. Can't even see City wanting that.

Can see Pep playing something like that...

Hart
defense
Gundogan-???
Auba-KDB-Sterling
Aguero

But with Kun's injury history Auba will probably also play a lot as ST.

City has probably the best squad in PL on paper.. They already signed Gundogan, if also Auba comes they will be unstoppable.. Can't wait to see Pep dominating PL with Man City!

I'd imagine it could be smth like this. Haven't heard a single fullback linked to City. Maybe R. Rodriguez but it's almost dead certain they'll get atleast one left sided fullback. Pep might keep Zabaleta and Sagna though.

Dm is weird. Weigl is unbuyable imo. Krychowiak might suit PL.

I don't think they'll get Auba. He seems to love Dortmund and has said that if he leaves, it'd be to Spain. And we all know he won't get Spain if he moves there.

Top Tweet from a reputable source says Dortmund Denies any talk of a deal in regards to Aubameyang.

He responded to the rumors that he "would only go to Madrid real".

Borussia want 65m quid for him, City being interested. Also there were rumors regarding Atletico interest, I don't see why Atletico wouldn't afford him after getting rid of Jackson for €42m, maybe they can negociate an exchange + cash. Giving up Vietto or Correa for him would really make Atletico look like a powerhouse.
Also, I do believe Pep would need someone like him besides Injuero.
