They already released him, if this deal is happening. So we are paying 100 percent but it seems basically all of it will be deferred until next year.

He hasnt been released yet but it will be a lump sum from Arsenal to cover the time if anything. Doesnt have to be paid weekly.

What are you on about? He was there at the offices, he signed the deal. All that it's delaying the official announcement is that Arsenal must first announce that they terminated his contract. Then he's a free agent and it literally doesn't matter when we make our announcement after that. It's done.

No it is 250k he would have got from Arsenal not playing and the 4m next season is pure guess work based on the 2m this season.

In his pocket even if 6m across next season and a half he loses out on 6/7m.
