Well, the top four looks very interesting this year. City have the best squad but I've already said that Arsenal will win it so I'm not going to change my mind. So basically, that leaves City at second and then what? Liverpool are a balanced team that are still fighting for the title even though everyone keep telling me they'll soon fade. They still haven't.

And then you have Chelsea who are still fighting for the title. And let's not forget Everton. They look as good as any of the other teams. They started the season poorly but some of the football they've played has been very impressive. They've beaten Chelsea, United, produced the most convincing performance by any team at the Etihad, a draw against Arsenal and Liverpool. They're actually good enough to win the league to be honest. Their poor start has made them look worse than they actually are.

United are of course good enough for a top four. So you can't expect them not to finish outside of it but then again, Arsenal, City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton all look stronger. This will be difficult for them.

Spurs? Yeah...no.

I would be very surprised if United were in the title race come the end of the season. I think top four is a more realistic goal, and they could still easily miss out on that too.
There are 4 teams in the title race currently so, unless you are in the title race you won't be in the top 4.....If we get 2 decent Central midfielders in January than we can start winning games against our immediate rivals....

I wouldn't say City are far superior at all. Superior yes but not far superior. For many reasons. One I think we have a better manager and the other is that their defence is really weak.

As for man u and chelsea. I also believe Chelsea have a superior team than us and once they sign a striker their squad strength offensively will be massive. However they also have a weak defence and no proper DM to play alongside the likes of Ramires and Lampard.

Man U are in transition and I wouldn't be folly enough to suggest we have a better team judging for six months. However I wouldn't swap Rodgers for Moyes not in a million years. I know who I'd bank on to progress a team - and it ain't Moyes.

Man U will be there or thereabouts and will be stronger next season of course. But as long as Moyes is in charge there is quite frankly nothing to fear.

Are Man U underachieving? Or was Fergi overachieving? Seriously that question has to be asked. Average midfield. Central defence isn't the greatest that is can be. RVP over the hill perhaps? Lots of questions need asking.

I would say for our squad challenging for the league is over achieving but being in the top 4 isn't. IMO.

If you give me 1 point from our next two games I'd actually take it tbh. Man City and Chelsea away in the same week is hard.

For me the Man City game is what I call a free hit. We've banked enough points already that it has become that for me. Especially with our win over Spurs. So in a really perverse way I am looking forward to it and seeing how we compete against them. I expect a loss but expect us to play with a bit of freedom.

Then its time to end Mourinho's record at the Bridge :D

Really this is a great time for us at the moment and I am going to relish in it as much as I can do. We've exceeded my and really all LFC expectations from before the season started to where we are now.

If you can't enjoy these moments as a supporter then what's the point :D

why are Liverpool fans so obsessed with wanting to break that record? I keep hearing Liverpool fans mention that game saying how they want to end the record? It wont happen but i dont get why Liverpool want to do it so badly!

Because until somebody ends it, it will always be brought up whenever Chelsea are at home in the EPL lol. Don't know if certain fans want it more than others but yeah.

Well we ended your home record in 2008 was it 80 odd games or something like that? So we have history in breaking your home record ;)

Also because of the needle between Mourinho and Rafa.

Lallana and Ward-Prowse are going to be very, very good players. I'd love to sign one of them to replace Gerrard in our squad in the next year or two. They'll both be playing at the highest level soon enough.
