I wouldn't say City are far superior at all. Superior yes but not far superior. For many reasons. One I think we have a better manager and the other is that their defence is really weak.
As for man u and chelsea. I also believe Chelsea have a superior team than us and once they sign a striker their squad strength offensively will be massive. However they also have a weak defence and no proper DM to play alongside the likes of Ramires and Lampard.
Man U are in transition and I wouldn't be folly enough to suggest we have a better team judging for six months. However I wouldn't swap Rodgers for Moyes not in a million years. I know who I'd bank on to progress a team - and it ain't Moyes.
Man U will be there or thereabouts and will be stronger next season of course. But as long as Moyes is in charge there is quite frankly nothing to fear.
Are Man U underachieving? Or was Fergi overachieving? Seriously that question has to be asked. Average midfield. Central defence isn't the greatest that is can be. RVP over the hill perhaps? Lots of questions need asking.
I would say for our squad challenging for the league is over achieving but being in the top 4 isn't. IMO.
If you give me 1 point from our next two games I'd actually take it tbh. Man City and Chelsea away in the same week is hard.
For me the Man City game is what I call a free hit. We've banked enough points already that it has become that for me. Especially with our win over Spurs. So in a really perverse way I am looking forward to it and seeing how we compete against them. I expect a loss but expect us to play with a bit of freedom.
Then its time to end Mourinho's record at the Bridge
Really this is a great time for us at the moment and I am going to relish in it as much as I can do. We've exceeded my and really all LFC expectations from before the season started to where we are now.
If you can't enjoy these moments as a supporter then what's the point
