Mourinho: "We let Arteta play completely free and have the ball. But he passed the ball from side to side, from full back to full back."

So true. Never got the fuss about Arteta.

He's Spanish ;)

I don't agree with Mourinho. Lampard, Ramires and Mikel were hacking him down viciously. Arteta did well I thought.

I don't think any of the top sides should look forward to playing at home against us cause we'll come with the same approach, and if they don't go for it, neither will we. I'm not exactly a fan of the approach but if we don't lose in any of those big away games because teams are too careful against us then that's better for us cause it stops them getting 3 points and we also take something away from it, meanwhile we can go for a win at home. After this match I feel more worried about our home games because we'll have to go for it and try to win.

I actually think, considering how City play at home, we could actually do better against them(or at least the match won't be as boring) since they'll definitely try to score a bucketload of goals, which gives us a lot more chances on the counter. Liverpool will probably be the same. They will be much more interesting away games for us. That said, Arsenal are an attacking side and they didn't go for it today so Liverpool may not. I reckon City will though.

Chelsea v Swansea City
Everton v Sunderland
West Ham United v Arsenal
Manchester City v Liverpool

This will be a nice test for Liverpool, as they are playing City then us away.

Mata has been getting more minutes lately! he just doesn't fit into a 4-3-3 formation that is why he never played yesterday.

He doesn't really have a solid spot at World Cup even if he's starter for Chelsea. Del Bosque already has his trusted team and Mata will most likely sit on the bench for most of the time at World Cup.

I know he doesn't have a solid spot but with him not playing so much , doesn't he lose the chance of even being in the bench at the WC ?

Yes you are right. If I were him I would ask for a transfer. It would nice to see him playing for Atletico Madrid. I wonder if they need him ot can afford him. Rafa Benitez might also get him to play for Napoli.

The thing is though, Mourinho always plays like this. He doesn't do it because your calendar is easier than the other top clubs'.
