I am Leg End
not quite "VERY" strong.

Just a posibility. Everton have to win their next two to be ahead of us on G/D

The last 6 games are against crappy teams, Everton go away to City and United. So we still have the upper hand.

Everton are at home to City and home to Man Utd not away

Martinez is a GREAT manager, would be an improvement on Wenger @ Arsenal.

I keep hearing that Arsenal are only a few players from being proper contenders for the title and in a sense I agree with that.

However, the biggest problem is Wenger himself. He is WAYYY too stubborn and tactically naïve, as time and time again he gets found out against his biggest rivals. Every season he makes the same mistakes and the Arsenal board of directors are also culpable.

When Wenger said: "Top four is like a trophy", I believe that he was merely repeating the words of the board. It has created a feeling of mediocrity within the club, and given the players the acceptance that 4th place is good enough.

As long as Wenger keeps getting Arsenal into the CL places, he will continue to get that fat contract, because all the board cares about is the Champions League money. And as long as the Arsenal fans continue to fill the Emirates, they will continue to be treated like mugs.

Let's be honest, that goal was all about Deulofeu's assist :pep:

Every word.

Why don't you tell what you disagree with .... All of it?

If so, why?

Or are you one of the IN WENGER WE RUST brigade?

Oh, you weren't wumming. Oh dear...

Well, he's stubborn. Very stubborn. He pays little respect to the rivals away from home so the results against those teams have been underwhelming lately. That much is true.
As for the rest... well, that's just ridiculous. The ambition is always to win, of course. But let's not act like Arsenal have been in financial positions to compete for league titles during this long transitional period. Yes, the performances in the league and the CL were more important than the domestic cups during this period. For financial reasons of course.

I'm guessing, this is where you respond by mentioning the trophy drought? :D

No I won't speak about the trophy drought, that is clear for everyone.

But it does appear that you are one of the many Gooners that have had the wool pulled over their eyes with this "we don't have the finances to compete" utter bollox. Arsenal is one of the worlds riches clubs and need I remind you that they also have the HIGHEST ticket prices of any football club.

I find you extremely forgiving and blasé to use the word "underwhelming" in regards to your recent BATTERINGS at the hands of your rivals. I think the word HUMILIATING is more fitting personally.

You say the ambition is always to win. Do you really believe this or are your just repeating the tripe that Wenger is selling you? Where is the evidence?
