Holy crap! I just saw the goals from the Sunderland vs Cardiff match and for the second goal, Connor Wickham (Sunderland Forward) was clean through on goal and the last man pulls him back but he stays on his feet and the ref plays advantage. Wickham retains the ball and tries to round the keeper but the attack comes to nothing.

Then, maybe six seconds after the foul the ref blows up, shows the offending defender a red card and awards a penalty. The initial foul however was outside the box.

Gus Poyet "It was the best decision by a referee, I've ever seen in my life".

No way that their style merits any respect. It's cowardly, he spends so much on transfers per season yet still chickens out like a bitch sticking 6 men around his own box. Effective, one can't deny. Respectable? Never.

Saying Mou's tactics are respectable is like saying diving is a skill. You can get away with it, but it's a dirty tactic.

At the end of the season nobody remembers how particular match was played out, the final result is what matters.

it was a great decsion indeed, same rule as demichils foul on messi was used but this case wickham stayed up. good to see a player not dive and be rewarded.

I love how everyone is all like, "Gerrard's slip could have cost his team the title" when without him they almost certainly wouldn't even be competing for the title. He's done so much for them, won so many games with his goals or assists or just all-round play, that's it comical to suggest that one mistake would be to blame for Liverpool losing the entire league.

football fans are very fickle. last week sly we're all out havin a go at mourinho for being a bad loser, today he's the greatest genius football has seen.

City will win the Premier League and Atletico will beat Chelsea on Wednesday. Everything will be right in the world. :)

I don't know whether I want Atletico to win now, I don't think they will be able to handle Bayern or Real Madrid. I just don't want Real and Bayern to win the treble.
