The hate LOL. Would love to see any other manager to park the bus as effectively as Mou has done over the years. What a troll this man is. He's gone to win and he won.

I feel a bit bad for Liver fans, but their team has been exposed again, which didn't really surprise me too much. Still quite unfortunate for them.

Di Matteo...

Mourinho hasn't yet won anything with this apart from matches.

Thank god for modern football. You'd prefer times when smokers and drug addicts could be footballers?
Yes, it's so much better now with gamblers and lowlife thugs.

Btw, Rooney smokes and footballers still take drugs, it's just that they get tipped off when the dope testers are coming.

At least we'd have more characters! not these media robots

Depends on what you're into football for. Are you in it for the game, or for the press conferences?

You referring to the greatest player of all time, Diego Maradona? Think I would prefer that actually.

Yeah but then you wouldn't have Messi, Iniesta Xavi etc. I've watched a few classic matches and the pace of the game is just frustratingly slow. If I wanted to watch footballers strolling about in the park, I'd go down to the park.

Imagine a team full of 60 minuters like Ozil and Coentrao... :shakeshead:

You'd hate to watch it week in week out but for set piece game and given the sense of occasion it was pure theatre, just like Inter at the Nou Camp. I don't really care who wins it but glad the show rolls on.

Performance enhancing drugs in football....there was something not right with that Spanish Doctor (Fuentes?) whose blood samples were lost or destroyed? I think he was loosley linked to some in football.

Ofc they had a good game by his standards. They went to a ground no one has won at this season while being in a must-win situation, they won and fulfilled everything they needed to do on the pitch. If you're in Jose's position and given the mindset you'd fully agree with it.

C'mon Liverpool... don't bottle it. It's still in pool's hands, isn't it? It'll end Pool-City-chelsea. Or city-pool-chelsea.

Liverpool need to get up 8 goals ahead of City in goal differential provided both they and City win all their games, which doesn't seem very likely.
