Never heard anyone of general public say he is shit defender. Think quite opposite happens for most people that havent watched him as closely as you or other people here have and watch an occasional game of his(CL) combined with
just reading the match article(for games not watched) mentioning another header he scored and not aware he fumbled 4-5 defending.
