Ten Hag has done pretty well considering how many duds they have in that squad.

Martinez has really impressed me, CB with aggression and brilliant passing ability, a player Barca should keep their eye on. Casemiro, Varane and Martinez is a solid base.

Pep took the best teams in the world but made them unstoppable in the league, a new level. I would like to see him taking a midtable club one day, im sure he will lead them to the top3.

Heard this argument, doesn't make sense. Pep risky job was Barca, a club after a terrible season, asked to deliver instantly.

It was the make it or break it test for him, and he passed that in historical fashion without much prior experience. People don't give that enough merit. Look what happened after he left, only one similar CL season in 10 years.

After the success he had at Barcelona, no way he'd need to pick up a lesser job. Too high profile to go back.

That's like asking James Cameron to direct a B grade action film after T2 to prove he can direct action. You can't go back after you prove yourself as a genius in what you do.

I know, i love Pep, he did an excellent job when the took Barca but he had also a golden generation of players + probably the best player of all time. It would be nice to see him in a club like Sevilla/bilbao and to see what he can achieve with 'normal' players.

He would fail probably. He's not really a coach, but more of a football visionary.

More like a Harvard teacher. You wouln't ask some Harvard teacher to teach Nietsche or something like that to some high schoool kids. He needs a certain audience for his ideas to catch on. His demands from his players are very high.

(*) While having the best squad(s) in the football club history.

He took over a team who just reached UCL semifinals ..

That same team was mostly Rijkaard creation, who was out of breath and too much life problems to stay focused on his job.

Pep's team started appearing in 2009 after offloading R10 & deco in 2008 + Eto'o in 2009 (who later fucked him in the UCL with Jose) and replacing him with the terribly integrated non coherent signing of Ibra !

Lol. You mean his final creation was the 2011 team which is commonly described around the world as the best most gruesomly dominating football side ever. That side is still the model for nearly all successful teams at the present. Studied, and analyzed to death by most german new wave managers who themselves admitted it.

that's a theory bro, he doesnt need to win cl with sevilla or bilbao but a fight for la liga title (even if he doesnt win it at the end) would be already a success imo

He could be able to do it. Thing is, it is hard to tell because Pep is unique, and no other manager is exactly like him. Arteta did it with Arsenal, Pep would probably win the league with Arsenal this year simply because City would not have him.

But Sevilla and Bilbao is probably too low level team to challenge for a league vs Barca or Madrid.
