Unai works better at smaller teams that are willing to play any way to win.

No 'top' club will touch him.

Seems to go in to clubs and do well intitially then players/fans get sick of him and moves on despite doing quite well.

It's weird because when we were linked with Emery and Pochettino, Pochettino was seen as this untouchable god that Villa fans are deluding themselves of getting.

Fact is Emery has a better win % than Poch over the course of their managerial careers including H2H at PSG.

Both managers have been to European finals but one is seen as elite, the other isn't. It's actually the guy with a higher win percentage and 4 EL trophies that has the lesser reputation.

It's unfair for Emery

The reason is this joke Qatari club that some perceive as 'big' and whoever fails there (which is the easiest thing in the world) is deemed as 2nd tier or so
Happened with Emery
happened with Tuchel
happened with Poch

Tuchel proved already he ain't 2nd tier, the same will happen with Emery and Poch

I think JamDav was spot on. For a club like where Villa are today and we're they want to go. Unai is the right, and perhaps, better choice. He knows how to grift and make the most out of those lowkey environments, plus has a bit of know-how in how to close out Cup tournament successes.

Pochettino on the other hand manages like he has the world on his shoulders.

What is this bro? We are in January and Arsenal increased the gap during the last match day. So this is completely off?

I wouldn't take 538 too seriously. Before the 2nd group stage match in the WC, Argentina had a 5% probability of winning the WC

Arsenal being the blue is what through me off for a good 10 minutes bro.

Because it would have been too simple to use red for Arsenal and blue for City right.

For some reason I also thought the blue was City and that it was some early prediction on how their title chances would change over time
