United are slight favorites and any person without an agenda will tell you that much. This Barca team would find it hard to make top 4 in EPL.

If they are favs it is due to their coach. Same as if they make top four they will most likely be finising ahead of better squads/

The bookies have Barca favs and that wil give you better idea of where those without an 'agenda' are at so that is nonsense also.

Barca 1.5 v Man Utd 2.5.

All excuses for Xavi as if best he can do is 'make it competitive'.

Usual.

Who from Man Utds starting eleven gets in Barcas if playing at their best? Seeing as getting best out of players is coaches job..

Love to use the word 'agenda' to make shitty points.. anyone who thinks Barca should be favs has an 'agenda'... reality bookies have Barca favs and dont have any 'agenda'.

'Agenda' used to be reason Puig didnt get a game or many more shit players before him.

Avoid that word to try and add some backing to a terrible point. Doesnt work.

Barca 1.68 and United 2.15 now. It's getting closer.

Where are those odds? And can get 2.5 on Man Utd now.

It most likely will come in a bit if Man U keep up form and Barca stumble but point is nothing is based on 'agendas' when bookies etc hav Barca as favs to progress.

Sure, if a manager outclasses another, it's possible.

But you left out spending power to improve the team. United are top 3 major spenders while Barca are reportedly looking at cheapo options. I get you hate Xavi, but at least keep it somewhat realistic. In our starting 11 there are too many kids, and too few players in their prime that can make a difference.

Just accept this simple reality. You can still take a hit on Xavi if we don't compete and get outclassed by United.

Completely irrelevant.

You said anyone who doesnt think Man U are favs has an 'agenda'.

Which is provably false and more 'woe is Xavi' arguments realisitically.

Man Utd wont show their 'spending power' in comparison to rivals this January anyway and most around them are huge spenders regardless.

Amazing the lack of funds were never used for any other coach.. but Xavi gets 220m+ in little over a year and its all some folk talk about...strange.

Koeman for example brings in LDJ and Dest and they are 'his men' with nothing about the real restrictiosn in place then.. Xavi spends 220m+ and its all about how little that is compared to others...

Usual.

Mats = De Gea
Roberto < Dalot (injured I believe)
Kounde = Varane
Christensen < Lisandro Martinez
Alba > Shaw
Busquets << Casemiro
Frenkie <= Eriksen
Pedri < Bruno Fernandes
Dembele = Rashford
Lewandowski >> Martial
Raphinha = Antony

Fairly even teams imo. Difference is Man utd are playing as a cohesive unit with clear ideas.

Of course, Man United are favorites. They've spent 400m in the last 2 summers and it shows. They landed some top signings and have 3-4 world class players in their team. Varane, Bruno, Casemiro are world class in a way only Lewandowski is at Barcelona.

It's pretty clear. Only way you can deny that is by inflating some players like Gavi, Pedri, Dembele through the roof. Kind of silly.

Frenkie is far better than Eriksen..

Nope.... Barca are favs at bookies as you have been told and that is not on any agenda as you claim has to be.

ETH has spent less than Xavi and had lower starting point last summer.

Now 'its pretty clear' United are favs as if all about money spent when ETH has spent less than Xavi.

If 'money spent' is all that matters then Xavi should be working wonders with Coutinho, Dembele, Ferran etc all about now.

Just constan excuses as shiting yourself Xavi loses to United and sends Barca to yet another embarrassing early exit.

I already told you.

One Barca player gets into United's back 4 next to Varane, probably Kounde, not Araujo whose positioning needs a lot of work. Even then it's close between Araujo/Kounde and Martinez. De Jong gets in midfield, next to Casemiro in a double pivot. Lewa gets in the attack, and the 3 behind him are Rashford on the left, Bruno as the 10, and Anthony at RW.

Anything else is bullshit, due to agenda or sheer stupidity.

Araujo has been injured a while. I think it's fair enough to assume Christensen (who is a very good centre back) is currently the 2nd best option we have? I think Frenkie is a better player in theory but hasn't shown that he is better than Eriksen. Eriksen has been great for united.

United are still going to chase De Jong, because De Jong - Casemiro would be an awesome double pivot. Casemiro is the best DM in the world quite clearly for me.

Haha why would Aruajo 'being injured for a while' be relevant when comparing the two teams?

FDJ is far better than Eriksen. Not even close.

Eriksen has been good for them but not on level of FDJ.

ETH would have FDJ over him every day of week.

Nah you are full of it and bookies dont base odds on 'agendas.

All just shiting yourself to get excuses ready if Barca face another early exit.

Raphinha was better in prem last season than Anthony has been this and gets picked for Brazil... while Dembele has been better than him this season by far.

Stop spouting garbage.

At CB... would most teams take Martinez ahead of Araujo even if has some way to go? I doubt it. Would most teams start Dalot at RB ahead of Kounde?

MATS been better than DDG this season also and both were poor last season.
