No Christensen and Kounde are not ahead of Araujo.

Of the two Varane on form would be best and Kounde if not Barcas RB maybe ahead of Araujo but Varane and Araujo the CBs of the two teams. Araujo still has a lot to learn but there is not one team... Man Utd included who would b taking Martinez ahead of Araujo now or last summer if had choice of two.

Araujo would be a starter for Barca 100% you are cluless. To think Christensen and Kounde are ahead of him is drivel.

FDJ has been better than Eriksen for years and ETH knows it.

MATs been better than DDG this season and both were level below that last.

MATS has arguably been Barcas best player this season.

DDG was honking in some of the tankings they took to Brentford etc.

Lisandro hasnt been the top CB... he has been good but he also was not great in games thy condeded 6 to City, 4 to Brentford and 3 to Villa etc. While thy have kept 3 clean sheets in last x3 games without him.

Good wee terrier of a player but what has happended is it is being over compensated at times when he plays well due to criticism he got when first moved.

Also when comparing teams need to take into account what the coaches will do with players they have.

Xavi been scudded in Europe constantly when he goes with his favoured Spanish trio and plays Busi as a sole DM with Pedri/Gavi posted higher up park.

Also look at Xavi v Inter... fucking started Busi as sole DM on front of Pique and Garcia with Alonso and Roberto RBs.

In reality FDJ should have been at DM or even if insisted on Busi FDJ in at B2B to help babysit him. Then in defence could have had Alosno ahad of Pique at CB and Alba/Balde LB or even Balde RB.

Yet he is on sidelines scratching his head when Inter are breaking for fun past Busi and at that defence and could have scored five.

Yes I do watch when I can, missed quite a few before the world cup though due to work. Not bizzare to think Kounde/Christensen are ahead when considering injury record and the players they are. Kounde recently signed big money move as one of la liga's best centre backs. Christensen been pretty solid and very good on the ball which has suited us. Araujo at his best gets in ahead of most, I think he's a great player that we have, I just wonder if he can stay fit enough to learn the parts of the game he's lacking. Or if he's destined to not gain the experience he needs to be better with his positioning for example, or to get better on the ball which he needs to do.
