xavi has a better squad in an overall poorer league, with only one real competitor. and we still don't play as nice, which is subjective tbf.

It's not only subjective.
When we play Gironas Getafes Espanyols, etc and we can't create chances and win by playing dominantly, it means we are not playing good football yet.

We have recently clicked in important games, but even this has shades of Mou's Chelsea 04-06: basing everything on our defense and keeper.
We are several stages behind in our development as a team than Arsenal, and the individual quality we have can't mask that

Surprised at the glee here. City are an abomination with what they've done to football. Arsenal are a historic big club who spend within their means and are willing to invest in and promote youth. Not too dissimilar from what we try to do.

If there is any it's because some donkeys on here stanned for a manager who didn't even play CL football yet lol

Playing "dominantly" doesn't matter if you can only do that versus small teams and get dicked for being naive against the big teams.

Now if they were dominating the likes of City, it's another story altogether.

Arsenal lost Jesus though

Even though he is not the best player in the world, he was crucial for them.

After his injury, they have overachieved for some time and continued to win for a few weeks but eventually they had to slow down.

This guy in attack today is bad.
And I don't get this new Trossard guy.
10 years ago, he would have played at the 10th placed La Liga team.
I haven't watched him before, but he was horrible at a WC and bad for Arsenal whenever he played.

Pep has Bernardo and Foden as substitute wingers.
Arteta has Trossard.

What can you expect in the end?

You are one of a kind in numptiness..
They won by playing dominantly against Liverpool, UTD, Spurs, Chelsea.
Probably you missed those games, you were too busy simping for Madrid

Plus tonight Arsenal went on the front foot, and City waited for their mistakes

One must be a real idiot to think that this games nullifies Arteta's WC work so far

Tossard has been good for Arsenal before today...

Didn't United beat them this season also? Arsenal also failed to beat Newcastle, who are 4th.

Spurs, Chelsea (lol), and Liverpool are having poor AF seasons. Hardly top drawer competition this season.

Pipe down OptaBirdy
