Surprised at the glee here. City are an abomination with what they've done to football. Arsenal are a historic big club who spend within their means and are willing to invest in and promote youth. Not too dissimilar from what we try to do.

Well, what happened was everyone expected, right?

Inexperience.

As a former fan of Arsenal from my youth it's sad.

they weren't that bad today, but they did more mistakes and weren't as ruthless as city when it comes to converting chances.

arteta still a good coach.

Naaah. Not really. Arsenal was getting hyped up like crazy. Most were sure they would beat Man U...which they did. But saying now them turning shit is what everyone expected....I smell after timing.

Nothing against Arsenal as a club.

Just sick and tired of all the ones hating Xavi while stanning for Arteta. Arteta is a bit better than Xavi right now, but the gap isn't enormous as Birdy, for example, would like to believe

Arteta is used on both sides of that argument.. 'look what can happen when give a coach time'.

Truth is they are in very different jobs with different expectations/timeframes.

Got to say, I haven't seen people hating on Xavi whilst loving Arteta. Arteta is undoubtedly a better manager, maybe not by much, hard to tell. Comparing arteta doing this well in the epl to Xavi doing so well in la liga is pretty much pointless when spurs would challenge for the la liga title.

xavi has a better squad in an overall poorer league, with only one real competitor. and we still don't play as nice, which is subjective tbf.

Arse is a cow that provides milk for some American oligarchs. That's what they are.
