Had bigger fish to fry imo. This is why some players got rested in the 1st leg. La Liga was the main focus. If United had any hope for EPL title they do the same imo.

Not at all. He judged the state of the squad very well. If only he rested Pedri too on top of the others. Pedri got a muscular injury in that very game.

Exactly. Good competition for teams that don't have bigger things to fight for. Like us last season. That hurt more imo. The shit vs Frankfurt at home.

But it's obvioust the club and the fans don't value EL, and just being in it is seen as some undignity.

This year Barca lost to a decent United side, last year we got outplayed for 85 minutes against Frankfurt. Lost a close tie this year, it happens.
