The depth of attacking players in the EPL is unreal.

Cant make mistakes v these sides.

Yeah, that's one side of things. The other side of things is that the best teams in EPL are clownish in defense, and this is why Benz and Vinicius shat on them last season.

If Camavinga and Tchouameny explode this season, and Benzema + Courtois keep their hot form... put your money on another Madrid CL.

City need true wingers to get the best out of a 9 like Haaland, not these hybrid AM-Wingers like Foden, Silva and Grealish.

Yup and this is why they aren't winning a CL once again this season. Weird decision from Pep to let Sterling go.

Nah dont agree with that.

Last season City made errors late on v Real though.

Real also won it with about worst defence will ever see win it. Lot of open ties and errors last season.

Real were getting battered defensively as did Frankfurt to Xavis Barca.

Lets see this season.

Depth in EPL of attacking players just different level compared to other leagues.

They will be unlikely to get away with conceding so many goals again and fuck ups from opposition etc.

Nicely covered by 'IFs' though.

IF City defend well they will win it... easy claim.. as if they dont they wont.

Sure. I wouldn't say Madrid were battered - pressed sure, but it's not like the chances they gave away were clean-cut. Liverpool and City created many somewhat decent chances, but Madrid simply is a more robust, experienced, and used to pressure team. City and Liverpool implode when pressed, it's starting to get clear that they are tremendously flawed teams past a certain point.

Greatest Liverpool of the last 20-30 years still lost 0-3 to an average Barca and were knocked out by Atletico, as well as sent home 3 out of 3 times vs Madrid, scoring 2 goals in 4 games against them.

EPL is a superb league, and their teams at the top are very good, but all of them have major flaws in defense. All it took for Madrid were 2 amazing players up front + the best keeper in the world to kick them out. Benzema and Vinicius shat on their defenders like prime MSN.

Second game in a row Foden could have slipped a pass to Haaland for a tap-in but decides to shoot from a tough angle.

Real scoring with two of best attackers in Europe last season is no comeback to saying other lesser teams in EPL also have good attacking players.

Haha as if 'greatest Liverpool team in last 30 years' is any huge claim. They hadnt even won league before that and while they lost to Barca 3-0... they then beat them 4-0. What a bizarre argument.

They were then knocked out by Atletico in a game they battered them even more than Barca battered Chelsea in 2012. These things happen.

Lets see who does better this year. EPL teams or La Liga.

Don't get so worked up, I generally agree with you, but seriously now, City and Liverpool CLEARLY lack something very important. They are not great teams no matter how you put it.

Haha aye 'worked up'. Truly am.

You think Real go further than City this season I dont. Lets see who has bigger weaknesses. You may be right.

Small margins and I dont think Real are a great side and way one it is very difficult to repeat when so poor at back.
