I haven't read the whole thread, but there's some massive underestimation of Pedro.

As an individual, Pedro doesn't give too much compared to a Salah, but he brings so much balance to that Barca team, brings great energy and work ethic and is versatile. He was needed to exchange position with Messi and was good enough in the final third. For that 08-12 Barca team, I would take Pedro over Salah anyday.

Pedro is also one of the reasons that helped won Spain the WC as Spain was lacking a vertical threat vs Switzerland in the World Cup 2010 without him and Del Bosques started Pedro ever since.
Mane over Pedro then?

Mane was right footed, strong in the air, one of the hardest working players, a pressing monster, versatile(could play LW, RW, ST, False 9) and had more individual quality than Pedro.

Why would you take Pedro above Mane?

Mane can't play on the right wing as well as Pedro, so Pedro over Mane for that 08-12 Barca team.

If it's an RW role, then Salah is CLEARLY above Pedro. Salah is a proper World Class player. WTF?

If it's LW, then Mane is better than Pedro.
You didn't understand my point. We're talking specifically for that 08-12 Barca team.

I already mentioned that as an individual Salah is better than Pedro. The likes of Pedro however is much more needed for that specific team than the likes of Salah. There is a reason why Pep started him over the likes of Ibra and Henry even though they were individually better players.

@Birdy would like your opinion on this.

The Classico after 2013 is a joke compared to the years 2010-2013

Now the heyday of Classico around 2011 or so was a really top game to watch similar to the Liverpool City of the last 6 years. Maybe less tactically entertaining, cauz you knew Mourinho was going to sit deep and Pep was going to play the best version of tiki taka, whereas Klopp vs Pep evolved so much over the years and we saw different things

It's midnight in the UK (where Temp supposedly lives) and this fool is raging on a Barca forum about some historic Barca side/players.

Unreal dedication to trolling and unemployment and deranged behavior

Is that a sarcastic comment or a genuine one?

Was meant sarcastic but obviously EPL is the best league itw.

Glad to see Iraola doing well after very tough start of the season when he was reportedly on the verge of being sacked. Now they are safe midtable - with (very low) chances of even getting into Europe - and surely Bournemouth are happy to keep faith in him.

Can Salah and Messi co-exist?

Salah always seemed discount Messi.

But yeah, if they could play together (and remember that the Barcelona inverted wingers under Pep were built to work for Messi, then on paper that's better than Pedro.

Reality is though that the best trio was Neymar-Suarez-Messi. No one can touch them in the LE treble season finale. Mane and Salah just don't get in above either of them.
