After all these years, Mourinho is still the best coach they have had, post-Fergie, says a lot about the state of the club.

Seriously you compare Mourinho to ETH?
Mourinho was making them much worse with every passing year.

They destroy managers and players alike, look at Pogba..

I think ETH totally lost the dressing room when he threw Sancho (close with Rashford) under the bus and then continues playing Antony who is pretty much a Championship player, the bias is clear.

Expect ETH to bounce back in a smaller job (Dortmund maybe?) in the future but shit, do not let that man anywhere near the transfer kitty.

Mourinho had the best results compared to the other coaches, not particulary close either.

As for "making worse with each passing year", perhaps you should take a look at your hero ETH and where United is headed.

ETH's last season was nothing short of impressive given what he inherited from Ole and Ralph.

This season things are not going well, but that's not only his fault as I have explained many times.
With a SD structure above him and correct recruitment (unlike this summer) he can really cook

One thing I’ll say is that he looks almost unaffected by what is happening. Dude doesn’t show many emotions.

When asked about the current results and how the team is playing recently, he answered by saying that he doesn’t have the players to play like his team did at Ajax.

Ok… but at least create a style of play now then, for it’s very hard to see what he’s trying to do. How he wants his team to play. Beyond that, motivation is in the shitters. Players aren’t fighting for him anymore. Never a good sign, especially not when this challenging schedule is
Coming up.

The problem with United's hierarchy is they don't accept to rebuild even though its very clear they have been absolute gutter for nearly a decade now.

They expect instant results from every manager and that leads to pressure to play a certain, poorer way, when ETH at his principles is his a possession-minded coach.

He needs time and really needs a sporting director because his signings were trash. The club need to tolerate bad results whilst he tries to implement a style of play.
Just trying counter-ball over and over again hasn't worked with previous managers and it won't start working now. They need a real system.

LVG's words prophetic as always, ETH made the wrong choice but the allure of being in the spotlight at a commercial club was too difficult to turn down I guess

ETH will be successful before ManYoo will be

It's the same at every big club, get over it. With the amount of money put in you want results and fast.

Glazers can't be faulted from a sporting perspective. They tried all sorts of managers. From established supposedly wordclass ones, to veterans, young club legend trying to make a name for themselves or hype of the year managers.

They just weren't lucky I guess. All these managers had their own signings. Glazers didn't look at Antony and said "we want that guy!".

Maybe Glazers could be faulted on who they hired or kept on as sporting director. Other than that they've spent on par with oil clubs.

Mourinho is just a shell of his former self. At least when he was younger he could sell his "us against the world" football. Now he's right where he should be.

Maybe the whole sport has changed, but in the past you had lots of good older managers.

United blew way too much cash on guys who like the unpermitted buttsex. Just the way it is.

Can blame the Glazers all day long, and maybe the club culture is a bit archaic as Ronaldo alluded to in his time, but you can't go having the budget ETH had and then spending it on your ex players.

We went through something similar with Can Gaal and it disrupted the club harmony too. Especially when we had a decent players and replaced them with ham and eggers like Reizeger and Ronald de Boer.

United, should have gone for BTC instead.

And I got scolded for calling him the English Roberto.

Casemiro, Eriksen (even tough had some good matches this season), Bruno (too inconsistent), Antony, Maguire, Dalot, Martial - this team has bought too many wrong players
