EPL is not as strong as some believe. Obviously City is no1 in Europe atm, but they also routinely smash that league. Other than City, not much to be impressed by.

But how can't they be so much stronger? All of their teams spend hundreds of millions, its impossible to be good without that, remember?

It's almost impossible to be great in 2020s without big money on short-medium term, true, but the opposite is not valid. You can be average with top money if you have mediocre management.

In other words, money is one of the key ingredients in becoming the best, but not the only one. I'm confident Barca have all the ingredients in place now, except for the joint most important.

Look at City, perfect example of dominating the no1 and no2 criterias. Buckets of money and elite management.

Barca have better squad than all of them bar City and even then Citys biggest asset is Pep.

Some like Arsenal/Liverpool to some extent not much in it either way.

Barca have advantages... players want to play there... less of a constant battle for top four let alone title.. much better youth system etc.

Barca have some advantages, that's obvious, just not the main ones. No elite money, and no elite management. On the money aspect, we don't even make top 10 most likely.

Yes some main ones.

Much better players coming through at Barca for not even close to spend that majority of EPL teams have made.

Barca have spent a lot under Xavi as well as those other advantages have.

Barca have spent hundreds of millions as well as those other advantages and had a strong base of players maturing and more coming behind it

Barca have the best youth system in the world. United can barely produce one starting player from their youth system.
