Certainly needs to speak out and join Carvajal if feels the density of fixtures is too much.
Nothing will be done about it for those that play 80 games every 12 months unless they say something
Not when mid-table players arent going to lift a finger to strike when they have next to no guarantee of playing every 3 days
Might even argue against them provided it means they get to play Nations League etc
Only players who earn the most can afford to strike without much fear of penalty as well

Exactly the player, who was the loudest to reduce the games per season and even proposed strikes. I think next season will be even worse because they have this summer the new Fifa world cup format and nearly zero resting time until the 25/26 season starts. Fuck the money, at this point I'm glad our club didn't qualify for this shit.

I guess they count on that eventually players will adapt to expanded format across competitions such as UCL and World Cup. The first few seasons should be nasty because they aren't used to playing a game every 3 days but a few years more and they'll probably get along with it. Idk about how exhausting it is though, probably really much. If they all agree it's unadaptable then this shit needs to be fixed. Like Rodri said, if you want quality matches then it's not a good idea to have them every 3 days. Players are tired and hence less spectacle and less action on the pitch.
