To be fair he only had two great seasons, 06/07 and 07/08. In 08/09 he was rather underwhelming by the standards of this list, and his first three seasons he was just a promising, developing young player.

Sums up how biased the media is to have Ronaldo that low when he should easily be #1.

Of those 10, an objective order would be: Ronaldo, Henry, Salah, KDB, Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes, Vieira, Silva.
No one responds to your baits anymore boyo

08/09 was only underwhelming by Ronaldo standards of those on that list.

Compared to Rooney who is 3rd on the list, that would be a top 2 season of his career and maybe even best if CL is included from the seasons.

Cristiano left the league just as he hit his prime and moved to Spain.
Still you’re judging him by Cristiano standards not by the other players on that list.

Those 3 pre-prime years were better than the peaks of any other player on that list. His worst of those seasons would have been a career year for most of them.

I agree with you to an extent, as I said already - 9th is too low. But surely Salah and De Bruyne and Henry have had single or multiple seasons better than 08/09? I watched him in 08/09 and there was a decline in performance from the previous two seasons, though he did score plenty of goals still.

I think 4th or 5th would be fair and a common ground. Based on not being in the league long enough. 2 terrific seasons and one fairly good one isn't enough to make him 1st or 2nd imo.

The two seasons before 08/09 he was very good, yes. I think 06/07 is the best season of his Man United career in all-round game.

Cristiano in 08/09 was definitely weaker than before, the reason was the injury he had at the beginning of the season

One of his golden moments in that season:

The commentator:

''Too Far For Ronaldo to think about It''

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

There was no distance which was too far for Cristiano of 2008-2012, guy had one of the biggest thigh in football history

I know you'll say I am being harsh again, and maybe I am, but Almunia really should be saving that. Don't get me wrong, it was a fantastic hit, but when i watched it live I thought the 'keeper should save that all day long.

Now the strike against Porto earlier in the competition that season - that was his best long-range hit ever I would say. Miles out, hit like an arrow and constantly rising. Not quite top corner but his with so much power and accuracy and direction that it was definitely going in no matter who was in goal.

I definitely agree that GK should haved that but i love how the commentator says it's too far and then Cristiano silenced that lad!

His Porto strike was a goat-goal, so much power and accuracy

opinion to this one? i never see ppl speak about this free kick, imo one of the greatest fks in history, the movement of the ball is crazyyy

I thought that was gonna be Portsmouth one which I feel was kind of a fluke one.

But that one vs Atletico is brilliant. Hit really well and lots of movement and right into the corner.

I must say though that I think he'd score more free-kicks if he used the knuckleball technique less - it's too much of a lottery. He's proved he can score them when he uses the inside of his foot too so he should use that more often.

A decent, but not amazing weekend in PL prediction, thanks to a few exacts. Would have had four exacts had I not altered Man U Brentford from 2-1 to 1-2, no idea why I change sometimes. Especially with them as every time I back them to lose they win, and vice-versa.PL Gameweek 8.jpg

The fk against Portsmouth was insane too, the ball fell like a stone but i dont understand why many ppl say its his best fk ever, the one against Atletico is better imo
scored another very nice fk in December 2012 again against Atletico 😬

Definitely dude but its more a ego thing, he wants to prove that he can still do knuckleball technique. For example against Spain in WC18 or against Sporting lissabon in 2016 he scored 2 outstanding curveball fks ☄️🔥

Fun fact: I was also able to do the knuckeball technique for a few months when i trained it nearly every day in my young days but i noticed fast that if you dont train this technique regularly you will 'forget' it, endlevel hard technique⚽️
