Mate Xavi would struggle to be top 10 in the PL.

Back on planet reality Spanish teams are unbeaten in European finals in the last 27 finals.

But, sure, it makes sense to think a manager that is the best in Spanish football is gonna struggle in mighty EPL running 800m squads.

Now that Liverpool proved they can be got at by United nonetheless... draw vs Arsenal, draw vs Newcastle, loss vs Nottingham at home, draw vs United at home in the derby... they can be got at by good teams. They have been very ruthless vs weaker sides... but vs good teams they struggle a bit like other sides.

I like our chances in the CL, but we need to improve the defense. Having both Araujo and Christensen can be good for us.

Now I'm even more worried about Madrid in CL. Imagine what an in form Vinicius can do to Arnold if he has a game like that.

Guys, who had the better team
United yesterday or Barcelona at Anfield 2019 (4-0)
And which one was better
Liverpool yesterday or Liverpool at Anfield 2019 (4-0)

I rest my case and say that Liverpool was better yesterday than it was at Anfield in the 4-0 in terms of general strength. And that Barcelona in that game was better than Man United in general strength

Liverpool from 2018 to 2020 were the best team in the world, better than City, and one of the best sides ever.
So, NO, this Liverpool seems promising, but nothing close to that Klopp machine yet

Another brilliant idea of yours

They don't struggle vs top teams and are ruthless vs weak ones. Nottingham is the best example.
Besides, they won 4-0 against Leverkuses, 2-0 against Madrid, and 2-0 against City, 2-0 against Villa, 2-1 against Chelsea

These are the best teams they faced so far (bar Arsenal), and they won.
Newcastle and yesterday's UTD might be decent, but not top teams

Fair enough, I thought that the team that played yesterday was better in quality to the team that played the 4-0. I said that since that Liverpool team was missing Firmino and Salah. Man we faced that Liverpool team with a 3-0 lead and still somehow bottled it. Very traumatising

It was the epitomy of the Amigos era led by Valverde: a team full of entitled egos that lacked any professionalism, and mentality.

So? Barca won vs Madrid, Bayern, Dortmund. Biggest difference is Liverpool didn't lose as many points vs mid and bottom table sides. In the bigger games, both teams lost some points here and there.
