Marcos is a better defender than DL anyways. I wouldn't count that as a loss. And I wouldn't be surprised if PSG's sub midfield goes on to dominate Barca's. lel

So that means VDW at rightback for both legs? :mou:

Unless PSG play Camara at centerback. :mou:

Sucks for PSG, but it boosts our chances.
UCL is already done with that setup so I don't really care (especially since I'm ok with both PSG and Barca).

I just fear the squad is now too thin for the other three competitions they are in.

I'm not that bothered, but to be honest, I hope some people (especially the physios) will be fired this summer. It's abnormal to have like 50 injuries in one season.

VdW is retard that didn't win even one duel last night when he played RB after DL was subbed.

Marquinhos is not the problem. The problem is that Aurier and Marquinhos won't play RB against Alba. Only VdW is left, and he's a total retard with no talent who can't defend at all.

He assisted matuidi's goal in the first leg and his cross to matuidi gave ibra a goal

BeInSports France (their owner is also the president of PSG, Nasser el khelaifi) just announced that David Luiz is out for at least 4 weeks and Thiago Motta is out for 10 days.

These injuries should change our tactic for that game. We should go for the win in Paris and settle the tie right then and there. Bad luck for PSG, but they still have a fair chance to get something in Paris.

That's a huge blow. What's your line-up prediction for the game?

Really is a bummer with all the injuries, but the team you've put forward is still one that can create big trouble for anyone on a good night.

By the way Bertus, how does it feel watching a matchup like this? I know you're a fan of both PSG and Barca (and Dortmund too, right?), but which team has the biggest place in your heart and is the one you will be cheering the loudest for when they score? :)

To be fair, I don't feel this team can survive in an open game against Barca. Verratti missing is a huge blow and Luiz's absence means VdW is a must and I don't quite rate him. Also, no Ibra means less threat on set pieces. We should be fine if we play our cards right and I'm very convinced about achieving a positive result in Paris.

I am not a common fan (apparently ? At least I'm not a common PSG fan since lots of them are die hard retards that are so violent in their discussions to the point of wishing for people to die, I don't want to be paired with them) as you all saw during my discussions with Leo_messi.

Hobbies like watching football is not something that I consider a priority in life, so I don't get all worked up for those kind of things.

I'm also not one that wish bad things, or hope for others to fail.

When I compete in something, my goal is to do my best to be the best. I never hoped for others to have bad days when aiming for the best schools.

I apply the same kind of reasoning to the rest because that's what Rivalry is to me. If you score a 100/100, you don't care if others are doing great or have a bad day. That's what I tried to explain the other day.

My soft spot goes to PSG. I also like Barca a lot. But I won't be sad or angry or anything even if RM wins the CL again. Because it's just football. It's not important at all in my mind.

I can absolutely respect that, a healthy attitude in many ways. Allthough I'm personally a lot more invested in Barca and would really, really dislike it if for instance RM won the CL again, I get your reasoning.

I think this quote pretty much sums up how I feel about football and Barca, though I have other interests that I'm just as passionate about as well.

"Amongst all unimportant subjects, football is by far the most important." - Pope John Paul II. :)

I like football.

I like beautiful football.

I am not fond of RM for various reasons. Their history for example or how Juan Carlos played a part in erasing a part of their debt.

So I have clubs I prefer. But above all that, I like watching good games.

That's why I dislike it when a club is not at its best. Because it won't be what I want: the best football said team can provide (without injuries for example).

I dislike thinking I should just stick to one or two clubs. From my point of view, those that are die hard fans (like many PSG fans i described above) lose somewhere in their way what it is to enjoy football. They get lost in fans wars. They only look at the results. At what they want whatever the means. All is about their preferred club and how said club has to win.

And when I see that, I wonder, "do they actually like football?"

Which leads to liking Barca a lot. If you like football like me, watching players like Messi is a treat.
