Wonder how true the rumours of discord between Cavani & Blanc, as well...Ibra's absence becomes more significant if even Cavani is not on the same page with his teammates

It's definitely a big advantage for Barcelona but Barcelona will still have to take advantage & put the tie to bed in the 1st leg, IMO

For someone around as long as u ur expectations r way off.

How common is it for a team with such quality to be put away in one leg in the quarter-final stage? Not very common, even for a team that went to semis 7 yrs straight and won 3 CL in last ten years. Just breathe

The home leg in Paris, a big win there and the tie is all but over, non?

No Verratti, Motta, Ibra, DL & discord with Cavani? I'd say they are ripe for being taken out.

As for the return leg, it's not like Barcelona to lose nevermind lose at home but most of the work can be finished during a very tough fixture schedule in the first leg when PSG will be at their weakest - the return leg however will see them fortified and should they get a positive or less than convincing result in Paris it will certainly buoy them at Camp Nou

Ergo, Barcelona must put the tie away in Paris

So Ibra got a 4 match ban for that post-Bordeaux rant. That's harsh. But then again, they hate him so no surprise there. It's time for the other strikers to start scoring now

1) I think that PSG are better without Zlatan in big CL games. As talented as Zlatan is, his lack of speed, workrate and pressing, has a negative effect on his team in these type of games. Zlatan's gift is clinching victories for his side in league games, not in being very influential in big CL knockout ties.

2) Verratti will definitely be a significant absence for PSG against us.

3) The two PSG players that have been most dangerous for us, are Lucas and Matuidi in my opinion.

4) If Lucas is out, then that is a massive boon for us.

5) David Luiz is also a significant loss for them (seeing as he was instrumental against Chelsea) but a pairing of Marquinhos and Thiago Silva is not half-bad either.

So, to sum up, if we recover well from the RSP game on Saturday night, and we click against PSG, then yes, it is possible (if not highly likely) that we get a decisive result against them on Wednesday. That would be a great leap forward for our season.

He hasn't play a match since Febuary 14th, won't be playing in the cup final on Saturday so I could only see him on the bench at most against us on Wednesday and if he starts, well he is not going to be at his best.

This doesn't look good for PSG at all and if Moura won't be ready it's even worse.

If PSG loses that's life.

Lesson learned I hope. They must fire their Performance Manager + all the physios, and recruit good ones this time.

As I said, having so many injured players in just one season is due to that. It wasn't like that before they recruited those new staff members.

So really, it's all bad management. Nothing to be sad about.

And given how PSG is mismanaged, it's kind of a miracle they reached the 1/4 in UCL.

So really, don't stress about it.

Barca must respect PSG and gives it all. If it means PSG losing 5-0 or even 10-0, then be it.

Barca will and has to take PSG very seriously, period. Football is not played on paper.

Speaking of PSG's injury problems, I don't know if you can really say PSG was mismanaged. Look at Bayern, they have one of the best doctors and experts in sports medicine in the world, Dr. Müller-Wohlfahrt, yet they still suffered from plenty of injuries this season. I think a lot of times it is due to luck which can't be attributed to anybody's fault.

League Cup final day for them, I'll take a peak at the end of the first half of our game. So Lucas is definitely out?

edit: Went on their twitter page and saw the training pics, Lucas is with the team, probably won't play but should be nearly fully fit. A player to watch out for, especially if Moura doesn't make it is Pastore. Back on form recently, a bit of pace, tricky and he's got height as well. Lucho should look into that.
