Koeman wouldn't take any shit from the seniors (similair to Lucho in a way?)

Good enough for me. This is absolutely priority number 1.

Get someone who'll get rid of the amigos and give Xavi a clean slate to work with next year. Would be nice if they could also develop the likes of Fati or discover another youth product or two. Would make Xavi's job that much easier. LVG maybe?

Would love to get Lucho back. He'd clean out the seniors.

Koeman wouldn't take any shit from the seniors (similair to Lucho in a way?) but he just doesn't excite me as a manager

we really need to go for someone without this bullshit Barca dna / ex player.

Koeman is a 57 years old coach with a heart problems, who is now under contract with his NT.
He will an idiot to come here. He is in the best job for him.

Still baffled why Puig didn’t get 1 minute in two CL games when he was rested for the Barca B game. When it came down to it Setien bottled it and played the same old players. Not saying the game would have been different with him on the pitch, but he can’t have done worse. He needs to start next season. What a pussy Setien is, good riddance.

Not enough is being made about this muppet's disastrous managerial performance against Bayern.

In many matches where things take a turn for the worse, coaches are blamed for making the wrong decisions. The difference with this bloke is that he did nothing all match. He sat and watched, scratching his chin as we were battered in historic fashion.

It is like he was so in awe and captivated by the Titanic sinking, that he did not even bother to try and plug the leaks when he had the chance. Players, Barto, Bayern's ability etc. There are many reasons for why we failed so spectacularly, but let us not give this bloke a pass.

Went with a generic, safe, 4-4-2. Nothing inherently wrong with that, but it was clear from minute one that Bayern were pressing extremely high and we needed outlets. At the very least at 1-2 or 1-3, Fati and Puig should have been warming up. At HT? Maybe after Suarez scored to bring the match back within reach?

Nope. He makes the most cowardly substitution possible at HT, with Griezmann coming on for Roberto. Even in those trying, desperate times, with one foot already out the door, he still did not have it in him to be bold. Finally, when the game was already over, he brings Fati on and not a single substitution after that. TWO subs when we were down heavily in the biggest match of the season. Remember what he said when he was hired? "The only thing I can promise is that my team will play well." Turns out that was a steaming load of shite.

Now, let us focus on his communication, or lack thereof. Goal, after goal is sailing into our net and what does our great gaffer do? Sits on his arse, with an expression so blank you would think the lad was watching paint try. You'd think any manager at the top level would at least get on to the touch line and yell at the players in an attempt to spark something, if nothing else? Not from Setien though. Valverde was blamed at times for being too passive and not authoritative enough. Well, this man makes Valverde look like Klopp in that respect.

One of the biggest frauds this club has ever hired. Reckon not even the cows on his farm will respect him anymore.

EV 2.0 in every sense of the word. But even worse.

That's what we get for firing EV in the middle of the season when there is no one else available instead of after Anfield.

This is criminal! Puig is better than Busquets, Vidal and Roberto TOGETHER!

I can't understand how a professional manager doesn't scream his lungs out to his players while the play like that.
How can he not instruct Mats to kick the ball far away on the wings and not try to be Xavi inside our penalty box?
How can he not use Puig (not even for a minute in 180) after he has been in great form and our best midfielder in the last games.
How can he only use 2 subs after that kind of dissasterclass and get them wrong too?
This guy has surely surpassed EV, who would absolutely lead the club to another humiliation too, make no mistake about that.

Absolutely spot on mate. Too scared and timid to do anything. Too respectful of older players nowhere the current level he still thinks they're at. Form means nothing to him, Puig had momentum and he responds by not giving him a minute. His personnel choice in line ups is often wrong to me and his reading of the game to make subs is so bad it's laughable.

Playing 4-4-2 is fine as long as you don't field 2 players that don't press at all, nor offer any defensive contribution and don't player a 33 year old midfielder on one flank with no legs and another centre mid on another. Joke of a manager, hired by a joke of a president.

There was a moment in the game where the camera panned on Setien. This guy had his arm stretched while leaning on the dugout as if he got pinned to the cross.
Regarding his tenure here , the red flags were there not even 3 games in his short lived career at Barca

Can't even be angry with Setien, he's done anway and it's not like he still has a chance to weasel himself into another season like Valverde so nothing to worry about.

Honestly don't even care if it was a 2-8 or could've been a 0-4, 1-5 or whatever. I mean we'll get memed on for years to come but i worry more about how the club will react and maybe that shock at least leads to all amigos leaving by 2021.

Based on how the board reacted after the Anfield match, I think the signs are not very good.

We just gotta hope that the next board is more proactive in their approach.
