Hmm, earlier exits in both CDR and CL? Worse losses too. And we weren't even competing on different competition when we collapsed. Historical embarrassment in CL that never happened in our history, nor in history of CL knockout iirc

Messi would stay if Setien stayed. Setien was just like EV. Messi wants to leave because Koeman came to end the amigo regime.
Messi not even like Setien and plus with 8-2 lost as a farewell gift.

No not even close. We made it to CL semis and lost only 0-1 over two legs to an amazing Man U side. In the league it was different, dropping a lot of points.
We still had a solid squad that season. Iniesta and Messi coming up, with Xavi, Puyol, and Eto’o in their primes

The end of that season had a similar feeling to this one. Not as bad, but it was a disappointing season.

EV should have been sacked after Anfield. Players supported him but Barto did sack him in the middle of the season.
Every single thing that happened last season was a mistake.

Sacking EV after Anfield and reducing the amigos' role simply could not happen. They would just appoint Setien/Martinez earlier.
