At this point, a winger with a bit more muscle (i.e. not Villa, Tello or Pedro) and goal-scoring ability and willingness to get into the box (i.e. Not Alexis) could make for a better, improved plan A. You know, a younger Henry.

Benzema: Yes, though it's arguable Benzema can be more valuable in certain circumstances.

I would tend to agree. Falcao is the ideal number "9". As for Ibra, I am anxious to see what he can do with PSG in the CL this season.

It doesn't help when forwards who have looked great elsewhere (Ibra, Villa, Sanchez), take a significant step down once they play for Barca because they are not used to deferring so much to Messi.

I don't buy the argument that it is somehow our fault (the fault of our style of play) or Messi's that these forwards have not lived up to their potential, or perceived potential with Barca. I think a Neymar, a Falcao or even a Luis Suarez would massively deliver for FCB. I mean, it's not that our style of play destroys impedes them, if anything, it is them who impede our system. Furthrmore, all of the above, tended to become invisible for large parts of the games, plus missed lots of sitters, plus made countless cheap mistakes with their passing.
