Simple as that eh? They have a decent defence and have been organised this season. They have conceded 2 goals in the league this season, we have conceded 11 so for me, that says it all.

Mate, this is not a subjective opinion i'm giving you, Marca did the stats, and wrote an article about them receiving just as many shots on target as last season, and the only difference/reason for them conceeding so little this season is Navas.

Also, Navas is MotM for RM in 90% of their games, so there's that too.

I ain't your mate and secondly, you irritate me by posting as if you are posting correctly and the truth all the time. You offer an opinion, same as anyone else. Real madrids defence has been good this season, that is reflected in their goals conceded and it is better than ours. That's my opinion and it will take a lot more than you coming on and saying 'not true' to anyone who has the temerity to opine something you don't agree with to change it

Plus, if you really think the only difference has been the keeper (as good as he has been) maybe you not I need to watch more football

Those stats about shots on goal dont tell you how good the chances were though.

Just from watching Real they seem tighter at back under Benitez and less gung ho when ahead.

Are you saying it is a fact Navas has been MOTM in 90% of games?

Why watch the matches when you can spout stats from Google searches? You can seem knowledgeable with no effort

I don't know, I just get irritated with people who think they are correct all the time and tell others what they post is rubbish or not true. We post opinions, some we get right, some wrong. For instance on the transfer rumours thread, I put an opinion up yesterday which khaled and jamdav answered and fair enough, their arguments were strong and forced me to reconsider. But I have a lot of respect for that cos they did it in a constructive way and fair play to them. When people come on however and just blindly post 'not true' as if they hold the answer to everything, that's when it bugs me.

No doubt the defence has improved, partly due to Navas, but mostly due to organisation/structure. But it has come at a slight cost so far, we dont score as much. Thats is also partly due to injuries in front line and Ronaldo has been pretty wasteful.

I think the improvements in defense are there and it makes Real stronger, especially in away cup matches. But Benitez relies on individual brilliance in offense instead of implementing a solid system which allows the team to have planned combinations and attacking moves. This will hurt Real in the league against well organized teams that are ready to defend.
He has time to improve that of course. So far there is no need to worry about Benitez destroying the team or something.

Yeah it's fine, it is just some corrupted people trying to influence the match between two biggest rivals in the entire world. No big deal, it is only the league that is at stake.
