This is an utterly despicable move by the Madrid board.
What they are indicating is that La Liga has been lost even though we are only potentially 5 points behind the league leaders with 20 games left to play.
This is an awful defeatist attitude that once again absolves players of all the blame.
They are putting unnecessary pressure on Zidane.
It would have been better to wait till the title challenge was mathematically over.
Then Zidane would have a few games to look at the squad and a full pre-season to decide tactics for next season.
What happens if Zidane wins only 10 of the remaining 20 games?
This is an all-in move. It would be better to find some caretaker coach until end of the year then Zidane. Perez wanted that but fans aand players are pressuring for Zidane and Floper is in no position to refuse I guess.. This might end Zidane's career before it even starts but oh well. If he doesn't do SUPER bad I guess he'll get to have his own transfers this summer then a second chance next year.
