Rafa Benitez - The Destroyer of Teams

I rest my case...That was back in June

Back to the history garbage pin Rafa & all your deluded Liverpool worshipers
Ah ... worst appointment in history.... it makes no sense at all

Rafa like Capello /Trap /Cuper his achievements belongs to a different decade.. not only he doesn't fit the club style he doesn't have what it takes to deal with superstar
I still fail to see the reasoning.. even from Perez perspective which was always about looks (Del Bosque not appealing enough to the global image ) i don't see how Rafa is any better.. today the press has all the stories about the board asking Rafa to lose weight to avoid being a joke the Spanish fat waiter... !!!

I don't see anyone happy with his appointment except Liverpool fans who treat him as a divine and probably would watch more Real Madrid games than i will next season (as I'm boycotting this farce until he is sacked in January ) to prove to the world how Rafa is god and go on to pressure the owners to get Rafa back to Mereyside

One thing i would point out and i'm a self confessed anti-Rafa all the way ... regarding his time at Inter Milan .. i can't give him all the blame as its customary to have Mourinho team in shambles mental & physical situation after he leave them.. it's like his squeeze everything out of them & leave them dead & mostly unable to accept any manager easily due to the personal bond..which we have seen with Chelsea (under Scolari) & Inter (never recovered since Jose days).. thankfully Carlo was the right appointment & we managed to escape the year after Mourinho along with the backlash he had compared to his Inter & Chelsea "Sons " our Squad ( the shit head Arbeloa aside & in a way Xabi ) never got this Don Mourinho BS

God this season will be a complete nightmare ... Zidane will be on speed dial in January ..

Madrid fans are kinda thick.

They are envious of Barca, which I understand as I would be too if the Mancs were getting trebles and winning the CL 3 times in 7 years, but they need to understand that sacking managers because of three losses isn't going to make them compete with Barca.

They need to know that their club is run wrong from the off, this squad is as inbalanced as it gets and even Carlo lost 4-0 to Atletico last year (in fact, he never beat them in a league match), lost to Barca in the Camp Nou, barely went through to the QF in the CL last year (lost 4-3 at home to Schalke). In the months of January and February, the team lost so many points, they allowed Barca to win the league again, after having a nice gap going into the Christmas break.

Did they fix their squad issues? No, Perez decides not to extended Hernandez's loan despite playing excellently, gets rid of Coentrao, leaving only Marcelo as the recognized LB in defense, buys a useless RB in Danilo despite having Carvajal and Arbeloa in there, they recall Casmiero and buy Kovacic (two good moves in the long term) but he believes starting Modric and Kroos is better and they still haven't properly replaced either Ozil or Di Maria despite the latter wanting to return so badly for them after a failed stint with Old Trafford.

The Madrid fans need to know that cheering for Galacticos over actual trophies is what led them in this rut in the first place. They need a good DOF who is not connected to Perez who puts the club's needs first instead of buying unneeded big names. Their academy produce good players, they never end up giving them any chance because they are too concerned with playing the big stars (case in point Morata who was sold to Juve and ended up scoring against Real in the CL and eliminating them, now Madrid wants him back, but he doesn't care). The fact that they are directing their anger towards Rafa instead of Perez (and let's be honest Rafa hasn't been terrific either but it is too early to tell) tells you that they can't see the wood for the trees.
If this post proves anything... it proves your football knowledge is as good as Rodgers

Enjoy your Rafa wank fest with yourself.. only a deluded person would still defend this piece of shit after it was proven he is what we said he was .. an outdated artifact

How much did this half season manager cost to fire?
Don't think much because he wasn't highly valued in the first place.. i still see no logical reason for the hiring..
firing Rafa was the first good managerial decision since sacking Carlo & hiring him

The culture of Madrid will not change - whenever there is a dictatorial figure at the top of the club it naturally erodes the authority of the manager; allowing the squad to play up like they've been given a supply teacher on the last day of school. This is especially true if there are players who have been at the club a while, and have a strong relationship with said dictator *Sideways glance in the direction of West London*.
In order to get rid of these attitudes, removing the manager and a couple of senior players won't help, because others from within will just take over. Ronaldo & Ramos learned from Casillas, who learned from Raul, who learned from Hierro..... Ego begats Ego. To be honest removing the president might not help either. The fans have to take some of the blame too. Every new (or returning) President comes in on a ticket of guaranteeing the signing of some new galactico, which starts the cycle again. If a candidate came in saying: "I want to dismantle the galactico system", would they win? I doubt it.

From Rafas assistant Antonio Gomez:

"The players would not listen to the Coach, not just now but from the draw with Sporting. When Rafa spoke and gave instructions, some players looked down, touching elbows and laughing, something I had never seen before."

Eddie , one of the first thing i learned going into management was that simple rule that there is no bad employee.. only a bad manager
Those same players were worshiping Carlo , it's Rafa mistake he can't win anyone !..and not the first time.. it's exactly the same scenario & had the same result with Inter..and he wasn't at all accepted in Chelsea they were happy to see him go .. it's a reoccurring theme with Rafa..he is the worst man manager in the world.. even Xabi was happy to leave because of him
you cannot blame Perez for Rafa failure.. i can only blame Perez for hiring him & firing Carlo...

If you don't see Rafa for what he is till now i can't help you my friend... only Balague & Liverpool fans still defend this piece of shit
