So after 543 minutes (7 games) played in UCL:

3 goals
1 assist
10 chances created
2 big chances created
3.7 dribbles per game at 67% completition rate (most in the tournament)

Not bad for an inconsistent and lazy fraud huh :messi:

I still think deep inside he wants to play for Barca. He is a big Ronaldinho fan and his comments about football trends that way too. He wants to play for Barca.

Lookman vs Leao. Who would you guys prefer?

I like Lookman for the aspect he seems to be a very hard worker. Doesn't have an attitude.
Maybe Leao has a higher ceiling. But I would rather not risk it.

I would not sign the player that will be unavailable in the middle of the season due to AFCON.
Unfair maybe, but when you're about to make a big investment you have to look at everything.

If Luis Diaz can be signed for 40-50m then he might be the best investment for us.

Ahh, I forgot about AFCON.
Ya leave it then. Higher chance of getting fatigued and getting injured.
He could have been good, but alas.

Wont happen and not the youngest but Lukebakio at Sevilla would be a fine back up for Yamal if could be gotten on the relative cheap.

Club wouldnt deal with Sevilla anyway but he looks a player for them every time bet/watch them.

I saw he makes 6.4m per year excl. bonuses (2.56m) which is slightly more than Eric at 6m.

With bonuses he reaches 9m which puts him in the same bracket as Christensen.

What I'm trying to say is he makes very little money at Milan, perhaps that's why he's an option for us (duh) despite the fee being pretty high. Same with Luis Diaz who is criminally underpaid at 3.4m, same as Iñaki Peña  Nico otoh is at 10.4m.

Serie A salaries are a joke, Kvara was also earning pennies at Napoli.

They would get 3-5x bigger salary the moment they sign for Barca while MD, Sport would report he is sacrificing big part of his salary just to play at his beloved Barca. It's always the same.

It would be big for sure, same as Marmoush securing the bag in the City move.

Milan and Napoli playing this perfectly to be honest. Got the most juice out of these signings on modest wages, and sell for big fees rather than renew and lose wage increase leverage on the transfer fee.
