Barça sees that Rafa Marquez's situation is similar to that of Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique when they took over as coach of the team, as they coached the B team before the first team. —

I don't genuinely know if this is tragedy or comedy

I feel sorry for my club that Laporta brought into this state
Better than Qatar at least

Also, the season before Pep and Lucho came, the club finished trophyless. In their first season, both Pep and Lucho won the treble.

If you know, you know.

Pretty much confirmed what I was talking about in the other thread yesterday. Rafa will leave unless BA is promoted.

Rafa Márquez has been waiting and has practically decided his departure. The scenario would only change if the reserve team achieves promotion to the Second Division in the play-offs to accompany the team in an already more professional category.

The Blaugrana have offered him, however, one more year on his contract and are waiting for a response. Barça believe that it would be good to keep the figure of Rafa Márquez because of what could happen with Flick, because if the German were to fail, Laporta would have a trump card to occupy the bench on an interim basis.

Rafa Márquez would already have some proposals from abroad that he would be considering. He is a technician who has evolved and is highly regarded in the market. Márquez knows that Barça's doors will be open in the future, so it would not be strange if one day he has the option of being the coach of the first team.

Disappointed with his passivity today, like he wasn't trying to do much to get a goal.

Did a good job overall but think he'll probably move on and try to prove himself on a higher level.

Wouldn't mind him staying as he developed most players good but with expected quite a high turnaround in the team maybe it's time for someone new to take over. Don't know who that could be though, maybe Belletti?
