Raheem Sterling

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
Pep started Sterling in a CL final. He started most of City's most important games under Pep. Tuchel had him as a priority signing for him.

Yet this guy want to talk Sterling down like he's some bum. Hilarious. Especially when his defence for Busquets is that "Every manager starts him" but when it comes to players he doesn't like it goes out of the window.

Also "pipe down mildred"

What are you, 70?

That shot was okay, though could be saved by male goalkeeper. One of the problems with women football is also that they use the same size goalmouth as in male football. They should use a lot smaller goals, like in some junior leagues. Most of the time it's enough to lift the goal high enough and a bit towards corner and it's a goal. That's also why there's too many silly long range goals. You have to adjust equipment to the physical capability of players.

True but it's too much hassle to change the goals for every women's game considering they play on "male" pitches. In the end, we have too many subpar quality and silly goals.

Gentle reminder: Sterling was easily England's best player in the Euros and a massive headache for every opponent.

That is fairly accurate.. sadly just about every other player underperformed though ..

Who else had good tournaments ( outfield players)

Was great signing for City.

Peps most played player and over 200 goals/assists in little over 300 games.

Done well for England and Liverpool before that.

Can see why City wanted to keep him and Tuchel wanted him at Chelsea and will do well for them.

He has not been at his best for the last two seasons though and that is the point .

City have KDB, G?ndoğan , Silva , Foden , Grealish and Mahrez creating loads of good chances every game . Sterling scored loads but missed just as many .

He will not get anywhere near as many tap ins for Chelsea

Pep hasnt played a system that suits him as much.. still had moments and even his last ever game for City comes off bench and skins player out wide puts in a peach of a ball to assist the firts goal and start the comeback from 2-0 down to win the league.

Has been a great player for City and will be good for Chelsea.

Folk who try to dismiss him as all about tap ins largely dont have a clue... Pep wanted him getting in box a lot and it is not an easy thing to do or plenty of wide players under Pep would be rattling 25/30 goals a season and assists on top.

You guys really believe that Pep was bothered about Sterling he would have sold him to one of their two greatest threats ??

He had one year left on his contract and was offered a new deal. He wanted to leave, so they could either cash in as best they could or lose him for peanuts later. Besides, Chelsea finished 19 points behind City last season, they're about as much a threat to them as Spurs are.
