Raheem Sterling

Check out his first Chelsea goal ., running at the keeper he miscontrolled the ball then scuffed it , the ball bounced off the keeper onto Sterlings knee and bobbled into the net.

Wondrous

A goal is a goal mate.

You don't get half a goal if you score a scrappy one or 2 goals if you score a long shot.

Your argument only makes sense if he doesn't score consistently, which he does.

We shall see .. Chelsea have zero creativity so where are all his tap ins coming from ?

Unless Chelsea manage to import KDB , Mahrez , Grealish, Silva and Foden

When Sterling outscores Grealish and Foden next season, how will you explain it away?

Grealish the great provider, with an amazing amount of 3 PL assists, playing for the leagues most stacked team.

If you actually watched his games he actually provided loads of assists but sadly the players usually squandered them

There was a game at the end of last season .. it may have been England actually .. where he came on as sub for the last 12 minutes and created 4 clear cut opportunities ., not one was scored .
So whose fault is that ?

It was a strange , disjointed , injury blighted year for him plus very few new City players hit the ground running .. Mahraz took a season to flourish .

Incidentally.. it was Grealish who laid it on a plate for Haaland to score on his debut after just 12 minutes playing together

I watched Citys most important league game last season. Pep didn't even sub him on, but he did sub on Sterling, who assisted the first goal in the comeback against Aston Villa. Grealish was below average last season, and that is even without considering his price tag, with that in mind, he was one of the worst players in the league. All his goals and assists in the league were when City was destroying the opponent, only his goal against West Ham had any meaning.

Maybe he turns it around this season, but Sterling had 16 more goal contributions than him in just 300 more minutes, and yet you still shit on him like he is some Championship level player.

EDIT.

Also you need to stop with accusing others of never watching games, while you yourself have a bad reputation with that.

Grealish is a tremendously talented player. Mainly a great ball carrier and amazing at winning fouls and combining with teammates. He'll come good this season I think.

He's a maverick and the fans in England absolutely love him for how unique he is. Like a new Gazza. Media image is that of a flawed genius.

At Villa, at his best he was one of the best players in the PL and easily the most influential on his team.

Grealish looked good vs Bayern, but Bayern looked bad so tough to say anything yet. After today we should know better how everyone performs. First real competitive game.

Grealish was bad last season. Definitely waste of hundred million. He scored more local ladies than goals+assists. His biggest achievement so far.

Now they don't have Sterling or Jesus to bring in when Grealish and Mahrez are being poor, this would affect them in many games. The only player with real pace in their front 3 right now is Haaland. I've even seen Cancelo do more in the lw than Grealish

Cancelo was fabulous last season and arguably their best player .. although he himself took a good while to fit into the system given he joined them in 2019 !!

Quality. Has a nose for goal everywhere he goes. He is one of those players that just knows how to score.

Much to Zidane82's disappointment. Scored a double for Chelsea with 10 men in this game so far.
