Forest were good for 3 years Celtic have top of the pile in Scotland for over 100 years and before you say it ducky the Scottish league was actually good for the majority of them.

perhaps, if they were still competing at the top level. for example benfica are a million times bigger than city even if they aren't winning too much these days.

Who has a better chance of winning any silverware (that actually means something) now and in the future ?

Players would (obviously) rather play for a club who is going to win somthing, rather than a team that won a european trophy 50 years ago.

We are trying to make history, not live off it.

We do have history, actually.

4 FA Cups - which actually mean something as there are lots of clubs that can win it.

2 League cups - they may not be as prestigious as before, but when we won them they actually meant something.

1 European Cup winners Cup

2 First Division/Premier League Titles - When a host of teams could win it.

Celtic won't win a thing outside of Scotland for the foreseeable future.

The longer you stay in the SPL, the harder it will be for you to actually win anything.

Oh, and the Gamper Trophy
