First in our CL group something u couldn't achieve with a much easier group
top 3 in the league with 33 games to go
I'd say we are in a great position ..

Though its fair to say the opening 5-6 matches of the league campaign were much kinder to Madrid than us.

To tell you the truth, the defense is still yet to be properly judged. We will see what happens when we play against a team that will pressure the midfield and counter attack our defense. However we are looking really solid, more so than before.

We all know that will hapened... Mourinho is known by his defense tactics that his "blitz attack"... he's like Helenio Herrera... not conceding goals first and only then think about scoring ...

It definitely was. We went to the Calderon (granted Real will win there as always) and San Mames, two very tough places to get results and won. OK Bilbao were down to 10 men but they still made it tough plus we won it without our best player. Against Atleti, De Gea stopped a potential mauling (plus Messi missed a good chance). We did slip up against Hercules granted but I see no reason to be unhappy from a cule's perspective.

what are you on about beast. sporting was a midweek match without messi. hercules was a blip. getting a draw in kazan is a fair result. meanwhile in the league real are getting 0-0 draws and scraping victories. you say we can't score alot on sporting but you have far more 1-0 wins after playing shit?

I don't need to flatter myself. you are just too blind to see the difference..
we have virtually fixed our main problem (defense ) conceding one goal in 7 games (all competition) while u seem to be cracking (till now ) whether in terms of goals conceded (6 goals ) or a an early home defeat.. it looks you are very lackluster @ home so i suggest u go and look @ your own game especially when your totally telly vs Sporting and Hercules in Camp Nou is a single goal

kudos to you for choosing your words carefully. in 4 home games this season we have scored 10. we're not finding it hard to score at home, it's just that the circumstances of the home games we've played in the league we're a bit odd. to have 12 points from 5 league games is amazing, especially that we've played two of the hardest away game's in the league (Bilbao and Atletico). you have fixed your defense problems this season but in cost of what? in cost of the worst scoring start for Madrid in 2 decades(?). to say that Madrid is in a better position than Barca is a complete delusion. Barca are ahead of Madrid in the league (having played much, much tougher opponents), Barca can actually score, the fans in the Camp Nou don't whistle the team nearly every home match from boredom, and finally Barca already have a title to their name this season, something Madrid havent been able to do for 2 years.

To be fair, he has history doing it and he nullified us last year in the CL.

He beat us once last year? And it was after taking an exhausting bullshit bus ride all the way to Milan. And had the offside goal not counted at Milan we would have eliminated them.

Mourinho has not convinced me as this Anti-Barca figure he's made out to be. He's gotten some good results against us, sure, but we had just as much success against his teams. Now I'm not saying he can't pull of a good result against us this season, but we shouldn't be worried.

I give credit where credit is due.

Real actually looked like a team yesterday and things actually seem like they're clicking.

I know its just one match and we have to see how they go from here. But I must say that they did look amazing.

Ronaldo, Alonso, and Ozil impressed me the most. Di Maria was good and Higuian was too.

Now its our turn damn it!...


We have to whip Valencia next week to trump that performance.
