what was that keeper doing? deary me.

marcelo was brilliant for the crucial second goal, though. excellent driving play. he's really turning into a top-class attacking force.

CR is a tap-in specialist who has really gay celebrations.

Sure, place in the table doesn't play on the field either. Yet somehow they were considered a first big test for Real Madrid cruising past La Liga teams without a gasp and TBH Madrid did outplay them, but scored lucky goals which brings us to the obvious conclusion.

What were the spirits before the game at Bernabeu on this forum ? Positive ? Even madridistas didn't expect the game to go down so well and we expected a sloppy win, maybe a draw, but never a domination. The only things that seem to have changed since then is Milan's form and reputation, their view in the supporters' eyes.

It's not like I've missed every beating they've taken, but come on. Right now, I could actually compare their display to Sevilla's display yesterday, pretty similar. It doesn't change the fact that the thoughts before the game were not as positive as they were after the game. No one expected such a beating to be given by Barca to Sevilla or by Madrid to AC.

Dude,I am not saying that is is easy to beat AC Milan, but they are no more than a shadow of what they used to be.

To face a really good team, you have to wait for Barca or Chelsea and to a lesser extent Inter(plagued by injuries) Arsenal(ditto) and Man Utd.

Well I'm not bragging about them being good, the point I'm trying to make is that some people considered them at least a decent side, but changed their mind for definite after they had seen Madrid, a team which was getting embarrassed by nearly everyone, beating them. Surprising change of view, isn't it ?

exactly it was considered a first proper test for Madrid, but after watchin Seedorf struggle to drag his body around the pitch you know that Milan cannot be a test for a good team

I am only speaking of myself,I have never said that Milan are a really good team during the past 3 years.

Which is a well-known fact really.

Not a really good team, but a decent side which we didn't manage to beat last year, but did so this year even after they've made reinforcements to their striking force which means we ARE improving when it comes to comparisons with big teams, which means that we will be a tougher team to beat than if you would look at us in last, how long has it been ? 5-6 years ? And if we happen to draw or win against a better team, say Barca or a team we might meet in 1/8s or quarterfinals then it's not likely to be because of luck.

We might have gotten lucky with scoring goals against Milan, but nobody gave us all of the chances, we created them for ourselves. Technically, you could even argue that we didn't go through last year, because we were not lucky enough after Higuain hit that damn post. How would the landscape look like if we went through ? Don't want to imagine and can't be asked to either.

dude i think you got it wrong
we were talking about the luck madrid has in la liga since I can remember, there are many games where they score a winning goal in last 10 minutes. That has happened uncontable times not just this season. I'm not saying all of Madrid goals were pure luck
