Oh a newbie in town.. another glory hunter..

that's an official study conducted in Spain (55 % supporting RM).. back to your shithole quickly.. it's smelly in here

ooooo, an official study, those things only suit people who agree with them. There's an official study which claims that Swindon is the most ignorant town in England. Now of course those who live there disagree with it, but htose who hate Swindon will agree with it. There's even one which claims right handed people tend to scratch their left hand, most of us know this is BS. Never use these "official" studies to try and prove your points.

Whtever shithole your talking about it cant be as bad as the one you crawled out from.

True, but Mourinho's controversy in the press doesn't enhance Real Madrid's image to fans all over the world, right? Just like Rosell's anti-Laporta tirades aren't beneficial to Barca's public image either. I don't know whether this directly influences the marketing-value (amount of shirt-sales etc.), but still, it's something to consider.

Also, I suppose Florentino prefers to keep good relations with most Spanish clubs, sth that can be useful during the negotations of future transfers.

Jose controversy is nil in Spain as the trash talk is an old habit over la liga.. the Sporting comment due to accusation of Sporting resting their starters vs Barca (true ) and Jose had to voiced out his opinion when a team rest 6 fit starters vs Barcelona (all of them played today )

It doesn't affect anything in Spain you don't buy Jose shirt and so far as you can see from the Madrid derby there is nothing to report .. only Gijon and Jose has a valid point

*takes the same hand that you facepalmed with and smacks you 10 times in the face*

They are the most popular team in Spain. End of.

 beast, alwayas so rash. you old git

We need to clean your trash Tiam if you are not doing your job ;)

You got to love statements made from thin air

fact
1- Real is the most popular team in Spain
2- ask yourself how many friendly teams do you play vs Real ..just ask Espanyol or Racing

that should put your statement back in order ;)

Dude the fact that they have more fans doesn't mean they aren't the most hated. Let's put it this way, really simple: Let's assume madrid have 30% of supporters in Spain, that leaves a 70% of people who could be indifferent to them or could hate them. The fact now is that more and more people between those 70% is not just being indifferent to madrid, now they hate madrid beacuse of Mourinho and the stupid madrid press. Got it now?

to be honest, Beastie, this Jonathan person is absolutely correct about "official studies"

HOWEVER

Reial are the most popular team in Spain, so it's really just diverting the issue to rip on "official studies"

Thanks ricknattery.

Preciado (coach Sporting Gijon): "Mourinho's obsession with Barça is probably because he would have liked to coach Barça." Priceless

I said exaclty the same when he was announced as Madrid's manager. It is so true it hurts.

brilliant comment, and so very true.

Thank you, what people fail to realise about "official stuides" is that you dont know what the agenda behind this was. I could go to Spain and do an "official study" showing that 100% of people will be supporting Barca during El Clasico, even though it would obviosuly be BS, I could use it because it served my purpose.

True, Sporting rested a lot of regulars at the Camp Nou, because it was a midweek game, and 3 days later there was another La Liga game. If I remember correctly, their coach said that he rested a lot of regulars, because they have a very thin squad, and they're not capable of playing 3 games a week at the highest level. So in that sense, it makes most sense to rest your key players in the game in which your chance of winning is the lowest (Barca at Camp Nou).

Then Mourinho complained about that, and then Sporting's coach said that Mourinho lacked respect for the small clubs.

And then RM put an official statement on their website, to condamn Sporting's coach behaviour. Quite ridiculous if you ask me; 'cause obviously, you reap what you sow.

Based on your words ?
Real have more than half as supporters which mean those half will "NATURALLY " be anti Barca.. so if Real has 55 % fans., 45 % haters .. that leaves Barca with 55 % (Valencia third on the fans list btw ) haters and thus you top the chart.. got that now ? it's basics really Rick
and while Real dominance in the fans part is backed up by independent studies your words are backed up just be your feeling
As for Jose he showed nothing but humility with everyone except for Sporting and as i mentioned he has a valid point

Official studies are used as a scientific data Meta , you can't manipulate a simple question as "who do you support " .. it's common knowledge that Real (as u mentioned ) is the most popular team in Spain with more than 1/2 the numbers it means you will find more anti-Barca sentiments within Spain

The only people who make a huge deal out of Mourinho's comments are either half of Cules, Arsene Wenger, Ranieri and Benitez. Everyone around the globe couldn't careless and find his comments either funny or simply do not pay attention to them.
