Ouch.

Though purely on the field is not really my point. Its bigger than that. Like after all this money spent to recapture the glory days - they failed. Feels like it was last chance at the roulette table, they put all they had on red and it came black. Now what? No money left to rebuild yet again, and now it feels alot like across Spain they are resented by ordinary Spanish people - the people they claim to stand for. Basically as an institution Real Madrid is devoid of any purpose.
No money left from the transfer budget for this season.. not no money left , we are not Milan ;)

the season is not yet over and the investment is not a roulette cause you don't pay money to use the players for one season ;) we don't buy 30 /29 year olds as the core of our team starting 11 (Hi Ibra and co ) , they are here and it's a project that keep improving year after year.. with an average age of 25 we will keep improving , the problem occurs when your average starting 11 is above 30 like Milan for example .
for you it's now or never for us there is always the next 4-5 seasons
But with Jansen they have a replacement for Elia but like you pointed out they have nobody to replace RvN. The change would serve very well the interest of him and Madrid but what be in for Hamburg?

Their best bet is to look towards their youth department if the transfer go through , which judging by all i've read in the last 24 hours it could be a matter of hours

If Milan were in La Liga they would finish second in the league.

7th/6th tops , they can't cope with fast football
the likes of Real , Villarreal , Seville would actually run circles around them , patient build up falls into their hands and game

I think with regard of the policy of Madrid in the last years you can be excused to take this statement of a longterm project and building a team with a bit of doubt. If I think of continuity I would surely not think of Real Madrid. So just let wait and see how long this "project" will last.

Yeah Madrid would run circles around us... like you did last year when we hammered you in your own stadium, or this year in Sansa when you were singing victory already on chat and a 37 year old put 2 past you, you shut up pretty quick then.

Gnegneri

immaculately conceived
We let him go cause he wanted to go to play more and have a shot in the WC.. he knows that and that's why he always said great things about the club and the fans when he left to Hamburg and why he is keen to return when we asked him .
Add to that Pellegrini always preferred two fast forwards without a number 9 (ala Nilmar / Rossi ) .. Jose prefer Ruud type (Milito /Drogba )
due to Ruud wishes and his service to the club we gave him his freedom letter to join Hamburg without any extra burden so yeah we expect from them the same gentleman treatment , why not ?
I know beasty, and I agree to a certain extent. Only those are different situations. Real have enough firepower to let Ruud go in the winter, Hamburg hasn't. You want Ruud back, you will have to pay something for him.

That gift of Ruud leaving for the WC as you describe, is a gesture towards Ruud. Hamburg was the one taking indirect advantage of that, not the direct one. Real is now searching for a direct advantage in return, which is (on top of the difference in squad at the time Ruud left Real) not the same.

You mean getting a 2-2 draw and outplaying in the Sansa is your outmost ambition now ?
we ran circles around you home & away .. u scored a fluke and an offside when we took our legs off the paddle in the second half and yet you also failed to to win ..

Yep Alex they suffer from any intensity or speed , perfect team to play if you play fast football or put Intense pressure on them .. i mean they defended with 8 players in their own stadium
with some self believe Spurs should qualify without problems , it will be their own self believe that would kill them or take them to the next round .

Just watching Schalke vs Hamburg and as far as I understand Veh said that there is no official offer from Madrid yet.

You have a point there Kevin but also consider he is free in the summer so what sort of money they want ? 500 K ? cause they won't get more than this..

Madridista advice on how to progress through the round of 16... I imagine Tottenham will be swiftly filing that one in the bin ;)

Like said before I think that is not about getting money or about RvN leaving in the summer they just have nobody as a replacement. Next saison Petric may be back and they may get a new striker in the summer when the market is offering more attractive players. Now they just would be screwed without a striker

Don't think anything will be made official till the game is over , even Jose said earlier today let's not talk more about Ruud he has an important game in few hours to play

we can also give you an advise about winning the league but we can't help you getting rid of a paedophile owner ..

Guerrero will be back so is their Asian striker , however keeping Ruud when he wants to leave isn't the best option especially that Ruud don't have plenty of time on the pitch
or we can reclaim Sazlai from Mainz and loan him to Hamburg ..

And you have to take into consideration an other point. In Germany there is a lot of discussion at the moment about player power (Demba Ba, Farfan..). That would just be an other case of helpless clubs who are f*** by a player.

Imagine Hamburg will lose that game and in the aftermath they will tell their fans that one of their last striker option is leaving just because Madrid wish so, can you imagine the outrage among the Hamburg Fans who are already on the brick of revolt against the board? I just can not imagine that Hoffmann would be that stupid he would just digging his grave even deeper.
