I didn't quite get this when I read it, explain the details please.

what happened is that on the RFEF website somebody wrote an insight on the upcoming Copa del Rey games and when they refered to the Atletico-RM game they said something like this: "Turienzo Alvarez(the ref) will arbitrate under Mourinho's attentive look, who is considered to be harmed by the refs". Didn't remain on the website for long time
And RM sent an statement asking for a responsable on it and expressing their disagrement with those words considering that an attack on mourinho and the club

This was obvious...Mourinho is too much alpha-male to truely accept, that the club is bigger than him. I didn't believed him in the first place, when he said he would be aware that the club is bigger than him and that he could accept working with/under others, like Valdano. After only half a season he's allready crying like a baby whos lollipop you stole.

Bye bye then...i couldn't care less. Never regarded him as the right man to plan with long term, which is exactly what Pérez & Valdano are currently doing. Instead of splashing out another shitload of cash now, they plan with Castilla and aim towards getting their long-term targets this summer (Llorente, J. Martínez, Jesús Navas, Gareth Bale etc...), plus the recall of Parejo. That'll cost around the usual 80m € transfer budget + the money made with sales.
llorente, martinez, navas AND bale for 80 m ? that would be the robbery of the century surely lol just llorente and bale alone would take you close to 80m

^But Navas signed a deal with Sevilla already ( + he has chronic homesickness ). Why did he sign the deal if he wanted to go to RM?

Read again...it's PLUS the money made with sales! ;) Add to that that's just a list of the usual long term targets; doesn't mean they will ALL join in the summer.

And with Mourinho now likely to leave in June, there's another 30m € penalty coming in.

^But Navas signed a deal with Sevilla already ( + he has chronic homesickness ). Why did he sign the deal if he wanted to go to RM?

1) The homesickness issue so old news!!! How do you think he managed to play the WC in South Africa if he was still homesick?!

2) He renewed his contract in the same way Agüero renewed, with a massiv drop in the buyout clause!!! Jesús Navas' clause went down from something like 50-60m € to around 30-35m € if i remember right.
That definitly smoothens the way to get Navas, since we all know there is no negotiating with Del Nido, but only paying the buyout clause and Pérez never would pay 50-60m € for him, which was the asking price of Del Nido last summer...refering to the clause.

3) Before the Mourinho will leave in June thing hit the press, the general tenor coming from Spain was, that Pedro León does not convince Mourinho and has no future at the club - same for Canales. They wanted Pedro León to "enforce" his style of playing, but he failed to do that etc...
Now, with Mourinho gone - well, as good as gone - it remains to be seen what will happen with Pedro León & Canales and also who will be the next coach. Michel & Laudrup come up regularly.

However, be that as it may...it's still a long road to go till June. A lot can still happen, we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah, the homesickness "news" is old but it's still there ( or nobody's said he doesn't have it anymore ). He had a therapist who he visited and had counseling. He said it was slowly helping him. That's how he was able to go/be at the WC. If the clause went down it obviously hepls RM buying him. As you said, there's still a long time to Summer.

When it comes to your wish list we always disagree
why would we buy Navas ? we don't need him AT ALL .. not only we have 3 wingers but also Ozil operate from the wings which allow Kaka/Canales/Granero to slot in the middle
from all the names u pushed he is the least likely baring in mind with the new monetary rules the 30-35 Million euro means 55 Million if you pay the buyout clause so he actually decreased nothing.
Bilbao won't be able to sell their two best assets in a single summer.. it's absurd , only Llorente for us
Gareth Bale is not an improvement from Marcelo on the defensive level .. again why should we buy a LEFT WINGER ? you make no sense sometimes my friend
Arry play him as a LM with a LB behind him .

Jose leaving is still in the concept of a report not materialized to anything so let's not get ahead of ourselves .. it's probably just a leverage on the club
.. Iker said Jose wants to stay and he knows he wants to stay (and he is the captain so he knows better = that's what he said exactly ) ..
Also Valdano came out and said he has ZERO problems with Jose..
all this talk is a big distraction from tonight Copa game..i'm worried with all this side business

so at the end of it all, it might be mostly down to As and Marca selling a lot of papers?

Marca stayed away from it which is why i suspected it's a Jose-Mendez leak as a hidden message to the club and gain public support in the war for a 9.
AS is more balanced in their views (in comparison to Marca of course ) to Madrid news and any young reporter can easily fall for what he thinks is an expose while they are just using him as a tool
And it's not about selling paper as well .. AS don't go that way as much as Marca nor will they jeopardize their relation with Real after all Roncero and co are die hard Madridistas .

It's a pressure game .. however Valdano came out and said his words after Almeria game were taken out of context and that he and Jose had dinner before the game and messaged each other yesterday

Gio my friend...certainly you can apreciate the diffrence between long term targets and a personal wishlist?! My personal wish list, in order, leans towards

1) a good coach, who can plan with long term and that has loyalty towards the club. I'd go for Michel in terms of loyalty towards Real Madrid if he wasn't that much crap and thus not qualified to coach RM
2) the Castilla players Morata, Sarabia, Jesé Rodriguez, Álex & Thomas Mejías, plus the incorporation of Parejo.
3) fixing the midfield, since there is no decent long term partner for Xabi Alonso, as shown by Mourinho constantly switching his partners, therefore getting rid of the Diarras (and probably Gago as well) & Benzema for a start and replace them by...
4) ...keeping up the "espanolizacion", baring in mind that i can't see a future for both Canales & Pedro León at Madrid. Canales might, after being out on loan or sold for like 2 or 3 seasons. Add to that, IMO Granero was only kept at Madrid cause of this homegrown rule, thus his future is also uncertain. Lately he's apperently been winning over Mourinho little by little and a poll on MARCA had a bit less than 70% voting him to be the ideal partner for Xabi Alonso. Who knows, he might even gain or already have gained his stay.
5) not selling Kaka' cause i think he still has a lot to give and i like the way he plays...when on form of course.

Now, if i actually did give my personall view on the target list, i'd say that i only regard Llorente & J. Martínez as being of benefits for Real - and suiting for my personal wish list. Are both at once possible? Hard to tell...highly unlikely for sure, but baring in mind, that Bilbao are long time admirers of Ander Herrera; there's your replacement. So who knows. Jesús Navas was No.1 choice for Pérez & Valdano, but i'd prefer to stick with Pedro León. As for Bale, i can only think of one reason why they would want him...putting preasure on Marcelo who has no NATURAL backup or contender to fight for his place. Again, i'd rather prefer to recall Marcos Alonso as backup instead of letting him rott at Bolton. Marcelo is doing a good job as starter and Marcos Alonso strikes me as being good enough for a sub role.

As for Mourinho...presupposing that he is the one leaking this to AS, i dislike him even more for doing it that close to the second leg against Atleti!!! I wouldn't be surprised if tonight a 3:1 lead turns not being not enough. One would think Mourinho is more clever than that.

I read that Alfredo Relaño, director of As is not pleased with Florentino because Grupo Prisa(Group that manages a bunch of media in Spain including As) always has supported RM former president, Calderon. That's why Relaño is one of the few journalists from madrid press who writes not just about the positives of Mourinho but also the negative side. Marca is 100% behind mou

AS don't go that way as much as Marca nor will they jeopardize their relation with Real after all Roncero and co are die hard Madridistas .

Roncero is a clown, one of the worst sport "journalists" in spain, but he for sure is the definition of a die hard madridista
